WIDE SPAN SHED

Around August 2026, a longterm Melbourne supporter of the Kindom Village (Community) Sanctuary, has pledged a gift of $35k towards the building of the new colorbond shed, purchased new in Nov 2022, where roughly $62k has already been invested in the materials & accesories for this 27m wide x 8m deep x 3.2m to 3.8m gable roof shed.

All the bluesteel & accesories are already stored at Ironbark Farm Aust, bar the many already paid for glass sliding windows, doors and screens, which Trend Windows will be instructed to manufacture & deliver in Sept-Oct 2026.

The 12m x 8m carport section, see screenshots, will now be turned into another shed.

This important multi-tasking shed, to be built on the east side of the main house, is being used for many types of essential transitions we require, both short & long term --->

a) from Braemar-Mittagong, transfer & store all the Cristian family household contents from a packed 40' shipping container & 3 large indoor crates packed with a recording studio, electronics, equipment, brand new famous & rare Gerry Shaw clothing from the early 2000's collections (all to be sold to bring in another $15k to $35k), & essential garden materials,

b) transfer everything from the packed large single garage & the granny flat, both currently being used as the workshop full of steel shelves holding tools, gear, machines, hardware store this & that, heaps of camping gear & off grid this & that, amongst so many other essential things,

c) simply transform the garage & granny flat into temporary short & longer term sleeping areas / crash pads (granny flat will be demolished & recycled & garage to be relocated when ready),

d) finish upgrading the outdoor timber & steel bathroom & set up at least 3 x compost toilets, 1 inside the bathroom/ change-room, see photos,

e) the new 17m x 8m steel shed to contain an open plan kitchen, 2 compost toilets, a shower-bathroom, and temporary sleeping areas, be they modular or not

f) as other buildings come about, the new sheds will gradually be used to house the Cristian family & others, while the current small 3 bedroom bessa brick house gets upgraded or demolished, to build a new community house, which the Cristian family will temporarily use until we have built our natural home & have moved into it, then the main house eventually becomes a community house-center/whatever - the gradual or not stages of these residential transitions, depends on how much money we have at the time,

g) big machinery will be brought in to take down many trees, create the roadways, landscaping, level out & create the solid pad for the steel shed/s, get the plumber & concreter in to set up the concrete slab & the plumbing for toilets, bathroom, laundry & kitchen, & then the builder comes in to erect the colorbond steel shed with the electrician involved when required, which includes the 10kw solar panels & the Bluetti EP760 battery powered off grid set up - if we can afford it, we will increase the solar panels to at least 15kw (we have already spent $8.3k on the Bluetti gear with another $35k required to buy & install all the solar panels, extra Bluetti battery back up x 4 more B500 batteries, we already have 2, to maximum capacity, & all cables & footings to hold the many panels, & we will need to buy & set up a back up powerful diesel generator - carpenters, plumbers & electricians to then come in to finish inside & outside,

h) front and back of the new shed/s we extend the concrete slab, extend steel roof/awnings for relaxation, shade & protection, install a rear large insulated shed for the generator, 240v, solar power gear, & shelving for whatever,

i) as new buildings & sheds come about, the colourbond shed/s become either a function-seminar-workshop facility or workshops & storage for mechanical repairs, service, cabinet making, carpentry, etc,

j) the Melbourne benefactor has already indicated putting in $150.00 to $200.00 per week into the audited Love For Life bank account, to aid in the collective village savings that other serious supporters will also be putting in every week, money that will go towards setting up the trusts, etc, relocation of the garage, demolishing the granny flat for new buildings, sheds of all types, carports, etc, including stables, roundyard, wash up area for horses, other animal friends, & vehicles, etc, building large deep carports for camper trailers, caravans, vehicles, tractors, other mobile machines, all roofs used for collecting hundreds of thousands of litres of rain water, and be safely stored, the list of things to do will go on & on & on.......

The full responsibility we bring into this magnificent dream of a Kindom Village has us deliver around $1.4m made up of all the gifts we received since 2005-2006, the land, all the assets, equipment, tools, machinery, vehicles, animal friends, etc, provided, and the current 3.5 years of intense labour caring for this land, and this does not include the 20 years of doing the love for life insight work, building and running its now damaged drupal 5 database, now moved into a sub-domain, and intimately working with heaps of seriously troubled people who provided us with much of the deep wisdom we now hold, and are fully responsible for, a value that far surpasses fictional dollars.
