Translator’s Notes: This documentation -- title will be duly translated -- was mailed to the translator in the early 1990’s by Henning Fikentscher. Born 1900, he was a German military surgeon with some 1000 days on the Soviet Front, where two of his sons were killed. After the war he became actively involved in researching historical topics, foremost the topics under question here. The translator began corresponding with him in 1988 and visited him in Mohrkirch, near Flensburg, Germany. What is here translated was published by Grabert Verlag in Tuebingen in two installments in the “Hochschullehrerzeitung”, a bulletin-like newspaper for researchers and teachers. The first installment was in 1967, in Number 4, pages 26-27; the second 1968, in Number 2, page 35. Unfortunately, the installment breaks are not given in the German text.
As shall be seen, this is based on a Memorandum, which the editor possessed, written by Horst Hoyer. Fikentscher wrote the translator that his last letter to Hoyer in Bonn was returned unopened (unfortunately no date was given). From this he concluded that Hoyer fell victim to an unnatural death and his wife then took her life. They had no children.
I. TRANSLATION OF THE GIVEN TITLE AND THE ENTIRE PREFACE BY THE EDITOR.
A DOCUMENT AS TO THE MUTUALITY OF GUILT IN THE FINAL SOLUTION OF THE JEWISH QUESTION
by SS Lieutenant General Horst Hoyer, last residing in Bonn. During the war he supervised some 250,000 interned Jews near Lemburg, Poland.
Here are excerpts of Hoyer’s observations and experiences, based on the Memorandum he prepared in connection with the opening of the German-Israeli Peace Treaty in the Luxembourg City Hall, 1952. Hoyer claimed that the “final solution” (that is, the planned killing of Jews because they were Jews) was one of mutual responsibility, a few Jews with a few Germans. Hoyer gave the Memorandum to the West German Government. What readers have before them is squarely based on it. The editor hereby emphasizes that this was given to the Institute for Postwar German History for the sake of historical truth. In this, the editor is prepared to take an oath that what he presents matches what is written in the Memorandum. That this was highly significant can be seen that two weeks after the ratification of the Israeli Treaty, the Jewish party sought to get Hoyer’s copy and was willing to pay him ˆ30,000 if he were to sign a statement that the Memorandum was fictitious.
It was decided to publish only those excerpts which appeared relevant for further research, since up to now little had been undertaken, officially, in what might shed more light on the “final solution”, foremost, how and from where it emanated. We in our publications, have ever again hinted that the number of persons involved in the “final solution” was extremely small and they were masters of deception. In this one must be mindful of the intense inner-Jewish tensions and contrasts, above all between the goals of the nationally assimilated Jews and those of world Jewry and Zionism. These contrasts are much, much deeper than the one between believing and non-believing. As one becomes aware of this, many otherwise incomprehensibles about Jewry become clear, foremost, that one group of Jews fell victims to another, and that of those targeted, few escaped.
It is exactly these contrasts which are the focus of the combined two newspaper articles here.
II. EXCERPTS FROM HOYER’S MEMORANDUM. (Since the excerpts are distinguishable, the translator, for the sake of clarity, has numbered them).
1. In all serious hate-filled literature in Germany and elsewhere, one hears only of collective and sole guilt of the German people. However, nowhere does one hear or read of a mutuality of guilt, yes, even that the main guilt falls on international Jewry, as to the fate of the Jewish people in the so-called “final solution”.
2. Despite tempting financial offers from popular magazines, I was determined to keep silent. I did not want to stir up old hatreds and anti-Semitism. I kept silent, as I took for granted that time and the goodwill of many would help in healing the wounds of the past. This was until the opening of the so-called Israeli Agreement.
3. In the face of this, I became convinced, and am prepared to reinforce this with an oath that the “final solution” of Jewry (in so far as this concerned wartime Poland under German control, and from my vantage point of view), emanated from official Jewish and German departments (German, “Stellen”). Although attempts, on my part, to name exactly the responsible persons proved futile (however, as we shall see shortly, it could not have been Adolf Hitler), I became convinced that the deliberations of this “clique” took place on the departmental levels in the German Military Transportation Command (German, “Kommandatur”) in “Akademizca” (English, “University”) Street in Lemburg. There, to the best of my knowledge, is where the details of the “final solution” were clearly laid out. Sephardic Jews (see Translator’s Note below) could hardly have been victims, for these were taken out of Galicia by the hundreds, as entire families were flown out by the German Armed Forces with their Allies, in connection with the “final solution”. Thus, in October 1943, sixteen selected Jews were taken from my labor camp to Lublin and then to the old civilian airport on the Chortower Highway and flown to neutral Spain, to be handed over to the United States, including a relative of Henry Morgenthau, a member of President Roosevelt’s cabinet.
(Translator’s Note: As to the terms Sephardim and Ashkenazim, the following seems pertinent. In Die Geschichte des Volkes Israel” (“The History of the People of Israel”), 1926, Ludwig Albrecht, a professed Christian, wrote on page 654: “The name Sephardim, designating the Spanish and Portuguese Jews comes from the biblical book, Obadiah, verse 20, “...the exiles of Jerusalem who are in the Sepharad shall possess the cities of Negeb.” “The name Ashkenazim, designating the German Jews comes from Genesis 10:2, ‘The sons of Gomer, Ashkenaz, Riphath and Togarmah...’.)
4. From July 1941 to march 1943, I was chief administrator (German: “Vorgesetzter”) of some 250,000 Jews, officially organized as the German Four Year War Effort. Our orders included manufacturing army clothing, processing scrap metals, captured war materials and the like. These Jews were paid volunteers. To secure smooth operations, I had to trust “my Jews” as head of departments and keepers of logs. Through them I was informed of all world happenings, even on an hourly basis. This was, for me, incomprehensible and even fantastic. Thus, I got insights which left me speechless, for “my Jews” knew full well, what world Jewry had in store for them and they were as helpless as the German people themselves.
5. Now for some names. Is Siegfried Langsam, the onetime Austrian officer still alive? Are Walter Sonnenschein and Dr. Wachter with their wives still alive? What about Zuckerhorn, Spitze, Loewenstein, Gregor, Fackler and many, many others? Are they anywhere in the world? If so, let them now step forward and tell their people, as well as the German people, fearlessly, what took place in the Akademizca Street! At the time, they feared world Jewry, putting me in their confidence, didn’t they? They pleaded for my help, knowing full well that I was utterly helpless in the face of these underhanded activities. From that street in Lemburg emanated actions which neither the German nor the Jewish people, nor the SS, nor the front soldiers knew about, or could have known.
6. Backtracking. On April 8, 1945, I was taken prisoner by the Americans in Aberhaid and under the tightest of security taken to Camp Aigen on the Main River to Kleinmuended near Linz on the Danube (as witnessed by the American Captain Kelly). My name was on an international list, yet during my three and a half years as a prisoner of war, no harm was done to me, neither by the Polish nor Jewish interrogators. This at a time when even the word Galicia, once the great Jewish center, was enough to be beaten to death. Why didn’t anything happen to me? (Translator’s note: that is, he was not tried as a war criminal.) I was, was I not, a SS criminal, and for four years employed some 250,000 Jews? The Jewish interrogator, a born American, in Camp Regensburg, spoke privately about this, telling me that, indeed, about the same time as the Germans surrendered, May 1945, the Third American Army had two reports about me; one from the Polish Underground, the other from the Jewish Underground. Yet, I continued wondering, why did the Allies not touch a hair on my head? Was it fate? Was it providence? The Allies kept me simply as a war prisoner. But then a German court took over, in December 1948, among them a former German army judge, sentencing me 15 months in confinement. The charge was, that I had “a high position” in the East.
7. Astonishingly, as a prisoner in Camp Moosburg, near Munich, in the Spring of 1947, I was forced to sweep streets, where I saw many of my Jewish co-workers from Lemburg, foremost in the Max Weber Square. Even the mentioned German army judge couldn’t tell me, how they got from Lemburg under the Soviets to Munich under the Americans, in the midst of war-caused ruins and chaos. As I saw, things were going well for them. Very well, indeed! They looked very well, living elegantly, being provided superabundantly by UNRRA, doing big business with ration cards.
8. As for my claims that Hitler could not have known about this “final solution”, I can provide the following personal experience in Warsaw.
In the beginning of 1940, I was commissioned by the governmental officials in Radom, Poland, to make large business contracts (furniture, iron beds, mattresses, laundries and the like) with Jewish firms in Warsaw. These were delivered promptly and reasonably priced. From our official papers, I learned about the establishing of the Jewish Ghetto in Warsaw. With two of my officials and co-workers, Markowsky and Zwgieslsky, members of the Jewish Council of Elders, I drove to Warsaw to deal with the authorities in the Ghetto. They had their offices in Palais Bruehl, the seat of the former Polish Foreign Ministry. My official business was done in short order; the contracts were agreed upon and subsequently delivered.
As our official deliberations were ended, an orderly announced, “Officials! Leaders! The gentlemen have arrived.” Some sixteen or seventeen serious looking Jews were ushered in, introduced and took their seats around a large oval table. In a festive short hour, recognition was given these Jews with personalized certificates (on white hard paper, 40 by 40 cm). On the left was a large golden national insignia with letters in Gothic and a seal with the original signature of Adolf Hitler. These certificates assured the full protection of these Jews, their families and properties by the Greater German Reich. Included were words of thanks and blessings by Hitler in the name of the German people. Around this table with its distinguished Jews and in this festive hour, one sensed no hatred, no war and no conspiracy.
What was happening? Just by accident, I witnessed an event, international in scope. The aged Polish Marshall Josef Pilsudski, who died 1935, was, it seems, one of the few responsible European statesmen who soon recognized the extraordinary, yet also dangerous, restless personality of the young German Chancellor, Adolf Hitler. Seemingly, this Pole wanted to direct Hitler peacefully into the precarious waters of foreign affairs and was determined to negotiate a long-term peace pact. But this was countered by a “clique” of English and French friendly members in the Polish Foreign Ministry. These found support from German conspirators on the highest military and diplomatic levels. These Jews, leading Zionists, realized what a dangerous game was being played and thwarted this by bribing them with millions of real gold-based currency. This is not unusual in the East, and not overly upsetting, in any case, generally very successful. It was, thus, through this intervention of these Zionists that the Non-Aggression Pact of January 1934 in which the Polish Foreign Minister, Josef Beck, played a key role, was realized and the German conspirators were foiled. That is foiled for the moment, but this made them more successful the next time.
This great diplomatic event of 1934 was rewarded by Hitler in 1940 with personal letters of recognition and protection. Since these Zionists excluded the Sephardic Jews, one can thereby isolate the key to the “final solution”, as world Jewry, having little regard for these assurances, wanted it differently, working through German conspirators.
9. As part of official duties, I became intimately acquainted with the Ghetto in Warsaw. There a small class of workers, artisans and professionals, did their duties faithfully and diligently. But, in this, they were forced to live miserably as the upper classes were involved in underhanded dealings in the black market. Thus by haggling, one could obtain in the Ghetto all which made life happy, pleasant and alluring. Over and above all of this, capsuled off, was a thin upper crust celebrating apocalyptical orgies, as champagne and various brands of beverages flowed freely with an abundance of exquisite foods. Meanwhile, the Jewish proletariat lay in the streets, starving, begging and dying.
Once in our discussions, I was told, impassionately, “Our race has to learn to sacrifice!” Later I was told by Jewish Fascists, “Of those here, we shall still let 60% ‘bite the dust’ before Madagascar.” (Translator’s note: For these Jews, this was to be the first step before the return to the Jewish homeland, Palestine.)
10. Regarding this, if the passionate wishes of the Roman Catholic churchmen, on all levels, had been granted, then even the Jewish babies in the bodies of their mothers would have been targeted. Even the thought of such hatreds gives one “goose pimples.”
11. In conclusion, may I point out (Translator’s note: As was already done by the editor in his preface.) that two weeks after the ratification of the German-Israeli Treaty, the Jews on their part, offered me ˆ30,000 for the Memorandum, handed, in the first instance, to the West German Government. Rejoicingly, I would have accepted this offer. I could have used the money very well, for I was as poor as millions of Germans and their fellow Europeans. But nothing would come out of this “little business deal”, for it included a “little stipulation”, namely, I was to verify by my signature that the Memorandum was fictitious.

WHO WAS JOSEF BECK AND WHY WAS HE IMPORTANT?
Josef Beck, Polish politician, born Warsaw Oct. 4, 1894, died Stanesti, Roumania, June 5, 1944. As a member of the inner circle, he worked with Pilsudski after the coup, and was Foreign Minister from 1932-35. As Foreign Minister under Zaleski (who succeeded Pilsudski), Beck sought a foreign policy independent from the French, and cautiously sought to make Germany the driving power in Europe.
Reflections By The Translator. Since Josef Beck died at age 49, most likely he was eliminated. In one book it was stated in 1944, “according to the Nazi radio,” he died. He may well have fallen victim to the inner-Jewish tension, because he was an assimilated Jew! Beck was responsible for the Non-Aggression Pact of 1934, among other treaties. When I was in church work in Canada 1947-48, I had a member whose name was Mueller. He told me he was a bodyguard for Pilsudski, who was a Lithuanian, not a Pole. Mueller claimed all of Pilsudski’s bodyguard were ethnic Germans.

A Report On The First International Seminar On New Testament Revisionism By A Group of Participants
Introduction
With the participation of Danish, German, Polish and Italian scholars of ancient Greek and/or Sanskrit, The First International Seminar on the recently discovered Buddhist sources of the New Testament Gospels was held at Hesbjerg Castle, near Odense, Denmark, on October 26-27, 2001.
The main purpose of the seminar - the first ever of its kind - was to present and discuss the newly discovered Buddhist Sanskrit sources of the celebrated Passion Narrative, as found in the Gospel of Matthew, chapters 26-28, with the parallel accounts in the Gospels of Mark, Luke and John.
Many professors of the New Testament were invited, but as a rule they declined the invitation , usually on the ground “that they did not know Sanskrit”.
Background
For more than a century, i.e. ever since the Buddhist scriptures first became available in Europe in the 19th century,, scholars have discussed the possibility of the New Testament being to a smaller or lesser degree dependent upon Buddhist sources. Opinions have differed widely. Some scholars have been prepared to admit a large degree of Buddhist influence in the Gospels, others have denied any historical influence at all. Some have taken an intermediate stand.
In a recent book, The Bible and the Buddhists, the British Sanskritist and theologian, John Duncan M. Derrett (born 1922) has drawn attention to many parallels between the New Testament and Buddhist classics. Buddhist missions were long senior to the first Christian missionaries, who could learn techniques from the former. Entrepreneurs in the same line of business, working in the same fields, Derrett argues, they examined each other’s stock, and “put their heads together”.
Accordingly, Derrett points out eleven cases where the New Testament may have gained from Buddhist models. In almost twenty cases we may assume that Buddhists have adopted New Testament material. In many cases the literatures may have gained reciprocally, or it may be impossible to claim that either influenced the other.
Several other books published in recent decades, including E.R. Gruber and H. Kersten, The Original Jesus, Shaftesbury, Dorset 1995 and Zacharias Thundy, Buddha and Christ, Leiden 1993, also advance numerous arguments in support of the thesis that the New Testament has borrowed from Buddhist or other ancient Indian sources. The numerous parallels of ideas or motives “set up a case to be answered” as Derrett correctly observes (p. 17), and his book is the most recent - and the most serious and scholarly - attempt to answer it.
The first scholar to point out not mere parallels of ideas and motives but direct loans in terms of words and phrases was the Danish Sanskritist and Classical philologist, Christian Lindtner (born 1949). His comparative work on the Greek and Sanskrit sources was done on a much broader textual basis than attempted by any previous scholars, including the ones mentioned above.
Many years of careful textual study finally, in 1998, lead him to the conclusion that the New Testament Gospels were “artificial or funny translations done, by unknown authors, directly from the Sanskrit into Greek”.
His views were first presented to the public in the introduction to two volumes of Indian Buddhist texts translated into Danish directly from Sanskrit, Pâli, Tibetan and Chinese. These two volumes appeared in September 1998, and soon raised a storm of controversy in Denmark. No less than 23 Danish scholars demanded from the publisher, Spektrum of Copenhagen, that the two volumes be withdrawn from circulation, and burned. The international response to the books of Lindtner, however, was very positive and favourable. Several reviewers found the thesis of Lindtner highly interesting and probable, and even recommended that his books be translated into German and English. Since these reviewers included some of the most distinguished Sanskritists and Buddhologists in the world, the open opposition in Denmark, where none of Lindtner´s opponents knew Sanskrit, soon became silent.
On November 7th 1998, Lindtner, as a guest of the Indian government, presented his thesis about the New Testament Gospels as being “Judaized Buddhism” to a huge international audience in India. The thesis was, more precisely, announced in the form of the inaugural speech on “Future World Order”, at the Bauddha Mahotsav, in Sarnath - at the very place where the Buddha, long ago, had first delivered his celebrated Sermon of Benares- the so-called Dharmacakrapravartanam. His inaugural speech was published, in an expanded form, as an article with the title Buddhism in Relation to Science and World Religions. It was published by Ananda Buddha Vihara Trust, Buddhanagar, Tukaram Gate, North Lallaguda, Secunderabad - 500 017. A.P. India.
In Denmark, as said, the opposition to the novel thesis that the Gospels were “artificial and funny translations done directly from the Sanskrit into Greek”, met with violent opposition. Not one single counter-argument, however, was provided. Since none of the opponents knew Sanskrit, and therefore could not meet him on scholarly grounds or in an open debate, the opponents resorted to calumny. The Danish Council of Research which had for many years supported the Sanskrit studies of Lindtner, was forced to discontinue its financial support. Publishers were put under pressure so as not to print the books on the Buddhist sources of the New Testament prepared by Lindtner.
There was even an international pressure. Because of his revisionist views, Lindtner was, for instance, denied participation in The XIIth. Conference of the International Association of Buddhist Studies, held at Lausanne, August 23-28, 1999. A registered letter, dated February 1, 1999, read:
“Dr. Lindtner, Taking into account serious problems and reservations connected with your planned participation in the forthcoming congress of the International Association of Buddhist Studies (Aug. 23-28, 1999, Lausanne), the Congress Organizing Committee, with the support of the Board of the International Association of Buddhist Studies, has decided that your presence at the congress is unacceptable. Please note that you will not be allowed to register for this congress or participate in it in any way.”
The letter was signed by a certain Tom J.F. Tillemans, President of the Congress Organizing Committee, and Vice-dean of the Faculty of Letters, and by Oskar v. Hinüber, a German Professor, and General Secretary of the International Association of Buddhist Studies.
The latter subsequently confessed to a German colleague that he had been put under pressure to give his signature, and that Lindtner would have been arrested by Swiss police had he appeared at the conference. Many scholars learning about all this protested privately about the unprecedented decision. Copies of the letter were sent to various individuals, including Prof. Colette Caillat, Paris, President of the International Association of Buddhist Studies. She, too, accepted the exclusion of Lindtner without any protest. Lindtner, then, was not to be found among the two hundred scholars from various countries who read their papers at the Lausanne conference in August 1999.
There were also attempts to exclude Lindtner from using public libraries, and he was, of course, excluded from presenting his discoveries in any of the Danish universities.
The conclusion, therefore, is clear: The public, who pays for such conferences, and for the running of the universities, cannot expect purely scientific interests to be served well by such unreliable bodies. In certain fields of research political, or religious correctness, counts much more than scientific or scholarly correctness.
Eventually, Lindtner´s work found supporters in and outside Denmark, men and women who cared and were concerned about the freedom of research and speech. Thus he could continue his research into the Sanskrit sources of the New Testament Gospels.

The host of this seminar was the liberal theologian and the owner of Hesbjerg Castle near Odense, Jørgen Laursen Vig. As opposed to virtually all other Danish theologians and historians of religion who had been informed and invited to participate, Laursen Vig found no objections to comparative Christian-Buddhist studies on a historical and philological basis.
Thus it proved feasible, in spite of great odds, to assemble a body of Danish and other scholars most of whom knew Sanskrit and/or Greek.
The first presentation was by Professor Bangert, from Germany. He spoke about the translations of Buddhist texts into German by Karl Eugen Neumann, born in 1865. Neumann, who had studied with great scholars such as Weber, Oldenberg and Deussen, had, in the notes to his translations, pointed out many New Testament parallels to Buddhist texts. It was, however, not all that clear whether these parallels were valid. many seemed spurious. Nevertheless the work of Neumann should not be ignored, as more recent scholars have tended to do. Clearly, Neumann lacked some clearly articulated principles to guide him when comparing the parallels and deciding upon their historical relationship.
The main purpose of the seminar was, as said, simply to provide Lindtner with the opportunity to present to the public the Sanskrit sources of the Greek text of the Passion Narrative as found in the two final chapters of Matthew’s Gospel.
Lindtner pointed out how virtually each word and sentence found in the Greek text could be traced back to two independent texts belonging to the same corpus of Buddhist scripture, namely the Mûlasarvâstivinaya. One text provides the legend of Gautama, the eponymous progenitor of Gautama the Buddha. The other text is the Mahâparinirvânasûtra, first edited in Sanskrit, Pâli, Tibetan with a translation from the Chinese, by the late German scholar Ernst Waldschmidt.
It could then be shown how “Matthew” first had cut these two sources to little pieces and then pasted them together anew. In this way he had preserved nearly all the original words but created a new whole, a collage, a mosaic. The result therefore, was purely fictitious. “Matthew” displays a most artificial way of “translating” - a fact that has lead to much confusion. Sometimes he translated the sense of the words or sentences, sometimes he translated the sound of words and sentences, and sometimes he tried to combine the sound and sense of the original Sanskrit in the Greek. Nearly all the motives had been taken over from the two Sanskrit sources - e.g. the crucifixion and the Eucharist - but combined anew.
Lindtner also pointed out how the names of the four evangelists could be traced back to the original Sanskrit. For instance, the evangelist Mark is in Greek called Markos. The Sanskrit word is Kumâras, a name for the Buddha as a child. As can easily be seen, the consonants are the same in both languages, namely m-r-k-s. Each of these four consonants has a given numerical value, in this case 40+100+20+200. The numerical value, of course, remains the same, even if the original order of the individual consonants is changed. This rule is technically known as gematria, and gematria was extremely common in ancient Hebrew writings. Gematria also allows the use of anagramas, of course. And thus it can easily bee seen that San. Kumâras has the same value as Greek Markos, namely 360. Hence it is formally perfectly correct to “translate” Sanskrit Kumâras by Greek Markos. Such examples are extremely numerous, providing us with cumulative evidence to establish the direct historical relationship. For instance, the first disciple of the Buddha is called Putras. In Greek this person becomes the first disciple of “Jesus”, namely Petros. Here, as often, not only are the original consonants retained, but their original order is likewise retained. Nearly all personal names and names of places in the Gospels can be accounted for in this way. Many such examples were provided during Lindtner´s presentation.
As know, Hebrew writing only indicated the consonants. The reader must know the vowels by himself. Thus, for example, p-t-r can be read as Peter or as pater, depending on the reader himself. Playing anagram one may also read p-t-r as pirate. So, if only the same consonants as in Sanskrit were to be found in Greek, the “translation” was considered “faithful” to the original. Since each letter also has a specific numerical value, the evangelists also paid careful attention to the number of consonants and syllables of the original Sanskrit. This means that if a sentence in the original has e.g. 42 syllables, then the corresponding Greek also has 42 syllables.
Lindtner also called attention to a few hidden puns, i.e. cases where the Sanskrit has the same sound but not the same sense as a Hebrew word understood but not explicitly mentioned in the Greek text of the gospels. Such instances serve to illustrate the extremely artificial nature of the gospels.
Some of these numerical techniques are not quite unknown to traditional theologians. It must be recalled that since each letter also has a certain numerical value, a firm distinction between sounds and numbers cannot always be made. For instance, the Gospel of John 1:19-2:11 deals mainly with Christ. It has a size of exactly 1550 syllables. The Greek for the Christ is ho Khristos. The numerical value of ho Khristos, counting also the vowels, is 70+600+100+10+200+300+70+200 = 1550.Such examples of numerical literary techniques are so frequent that they cannot possibly be considered a matter of mere chance. They are deliberate, and their manifest presence proves beyond any doubt that the evangelists most carefully counted consonants and syllables.
The Buddha is often called Tathâgatas, or the (only) teacher. In Matthew 23:10, Jesus is called kathêgêtês, or the (only) teacher. The two words are thus not only synonyms, they have the same meaning; they are also homonyms, they have the same number of syllables and nearly the same consonants. In Matthew 26:28, the San. Tathâgatas, in the genitive case Tathâgatasya, suddenly is translated by Greek tês diathêkês, meaning “of the covenant”. Here the sound and the number of syllables is retained nicely, but the sense is violently distorted.
The full Sanskrit phrase says: Tathâgatasya kâyam, the body (kâyam)of the Buddha. This in Matthew becomes “the blood of the covenant”. Luke 22:20 has a different version of the same Sanskrit phrase, namely “The New Testament”, Greek hê kainê diathêkê. Here Greek kainê translates Sanskrit kâyam. Here, to be sure, one must know that m and n are both nasals and thus numerically equivalent. Also San. y is a semivowel having the same value as Greek i. Thus kâyam = kainê.
Thus the “real” or hidden meaning of “The New Testament” is “The body of the Buddha”.
Such “translations” surely strike us as funny or artificial. Perhaps we can hardly believe that the evangelists translated from the Sanskrit into Greek in this irresponsible and unserious fashion.
But the fact is that such funny and artificial translations were quite common not only among the ancient Jews but also among the Indian Buddhists. So seen in a historical perspective, the four Gospels have been “translated” according to the rules common in those days.
Good parallels to this curious way of “translating” can still be found among the remaining fragments of the Greek version (Septuaginta) of the Hebrew Bible done by Aquila who lived during the reign of emperor Hadrian (117-138). Aquila aimed to be faitful to the syllables and the letters of the Hebrew even if the Greek translation became meaningless. For instance, making use of homophony, he rendered the Hebrew ´elôn, meaning “holm oak” by the Greek aulôn, meaning “hollow, ditch, gully”. Aquila´s “translation” was very much in favour with the rabbis! One must, in other words, know the original in order not to misunderstand the translation. (For more such examples, see N.F. Lindtner also pointed out that the strange procedure of combining different words and phrases from different sources was even to be seen in the way the gospels combined various Old Testament passages into a new whole. Later on, authors such as Tatian would combine passages from the gospels in the same way. A few words taken from e.g. Matthew would be combined with words taken from Luke etc. The result would be a “funny or artificial translation”, entirely fictitious in the literal sense of that term.
Nor does it come as a surprise that the Gospels are anonymous. We only know the first names of the authors. It is the same with the Buddhist scriptures.
At the seminar several participants expressed their curiosity about the motive for making such funny translations. And in what kind of historical milieu could such translations have originated?
For scholars familiar with Buddhist sources the answer to such questions is not difficult.
In Mahâyâna there is a very important concept called “skill in means” (upâya-kausalya). According to this principle the Buddhist missionary is allowed to avail himself of any means with the single purpose of “presenting the body of the Buddha” to even the most ignorant people - yes, even to animals and demons. From the point of view of Mahâyâna it is considered very meritorious to mention the word Tathâgata, or to make an image of Tathâgata. The idea is that common ignorant people will not be able to understand the philosophical principles of Buddhism. For them it is enough to have faith in Tathâgata. It is therefore, quite irrelevant whether the New Testament makes any sense at all. Paradoxes are welcome as long as one hears the word of Tathâgata. The important thing is that people believe, even in a purely fictitious Buddha or Bodhisattva - such as “Jesus”. Some of the Buddhist scriptures used by the evangelists claim that one can become liberated merely by mentioning the name or by “seeing” the body of one of the many purely fictitious Buddhas in which many Buddhists believe.
This fact not only accounts for the many puns on Buddhist names in the gospels but also, as said, for the very title: The New Testament - The Body of the Buddha (to those knowing the pun).
The celebrated idea of the secret of the Messiah could also be traced directly back to the Buddhist sources. This puzzle has remained a puzzle to theologians to this day - exactly as it was intended to.
History shows that the Buddhist missionaries were highly successful.
Thus the New Testament Gospels can be characterized as crypto- Buddhism, or, since its authors and audience were undoubtedly Jews, “Judaized Buddhism”.
Challenges
At the seminar, where many other similar translations were presented and discussed, Lindtner came up with two challenges, one to theologians in general, and one to Christian priest in general.
The challenge to the theologians is that the Gospels, and other writings in the New Testament, cannot be properly understood without knowledge of the original Sanskrit sources. Theologians who ignore the Sanskrit sources, cannot be considered critical of their sources. They are, in other words, not real historians.
As for the Christian priests, at least the Lutheran ones, they have given the oath to preach the Gospels as they truly are without falsification of any kind. Since the Greek texts, taken at their face value, present a false, untrue and highly misleading picture of the original sense - as shown by some of the examples given above - this means, that the priests, if they want to be considered honest, must present the Gospels in the light of the Sanskrit originals. Modern translations, always based on the Greek, are, of course, even more unreliable than the Greek. Otherwise, if the ignore the Sanskrit, they break their oath.
The term “revisionism” may be taken to mean to revise the sources. In this sense, when speaking of the text of the New Testament, the time has come to revise the Greek in the light of the Sanskrit. No serious historian would base his views about past events on the basis of a highly misleading “artificial and funny translation” of the original. One would think that this goes without saying. And yet this is what theologians, priest and common Christians have been doing for about two millennia.
Lindtner concluded by saying that he had asked several theologians for one proof - just one proof - serving to demonstrate that the New Testament gospels must be considered serious scriptures. It is not enough merely to state that they are “the word of God”. A mere statement proves nothing. If it did, the opposite statement would also be true. But both statements cannot possibly be true at the same time - at least not without violating a fundamental principle of logic (the law of contradiction).
If nearly all the words, all the sentences, all the ideas found in the Passion Narrative can be traced back to Buddhists sources still available in the Sanskrit language, how, then, can one seriously claim that the gospels are “the word of God”!
To this day no theologian had been able to provided Lindtner with that proof.
Plans for the future
It was clear to all participants that these seminars must continue, even if certain bodies and individuals attempt to prevent this from taking place.
The current plan is to hold a second international seminar, October 2002.

14. Is there any difference between the Jehovah of the Jews and the Divine Father of Jesus as worshiped by the Christians?
Answer -- There is a difference so vast as to render them practically two different personages. The word Jehovah is the modern English rendering of the Hebrew term for the Midian tribal deity, Yahvah. Moses, after he had murdered two Egyptians for their treatment of an Israelite, fled to Midian, a district across the Red Sea, south of the Land of Goshen. There he married a Midian wife and became a sheepherder. Jehovah or Yahvah was the neighborhood god of the Midianites whom Moses seized upon, and utilized, in his later politico-racial exploits back among the Egyptians. Moses claimed that this little tribal god, with all his provincial hates and lusts, was the One Lord God of all the universe. This last could only be interviewed by Moses in person, or by Aaron or his Levites when Moses wasn't around. Christ came, and got Himself hated unto crucifixion, by standing this narrow and fallacious notion of the deity on its head. Christ said that the Lord God was Universal Spirit, and that man needed no paid priest or elaborate temple ceremonials to commune with Him. This threatened the whole basic foundation of Judaism, since it counseled the masses that priests were dispensable.
Furthermore, Christ taught that the Lord God was the Father of all mankind, Jew and Gentile alike. This was insufferable to the Israelites, who had a personal monopoly on the Creator, He being their original tribal deity and they being His particular devotees. In the Ebionitic attempts to reconcile the two identities, however, early church fathers mixed the two deities hopelessly, and filled the Bible full of contradictions and paradoxes. 39. What was Ebionitism?
Answer -- The subversive instructors, sent out by the Jerusalem authorities to imbed such notions in the minds of early Christian converts, were called Ebionites. It was their job and commission to make the very Judaism against which Christ inveighed, the foundation and background of the new Christian theology. Christ must be made to say that He came "to fulfil the law of Moses." Thereby the law of Moses became quite as essential to the new religion as did Christ. And so on, throughout a hundred scriptural passages. Again, we can compare it to the Jews of a hundred years hence making Hitler to say "I came to fulfil the law of Karl Marx!" These Ebionites had their headquarters in the Greek city of Pella, so that they would not be openly recognized as subversive missionaries for the Jerusalem Sanhedrinists. And it was in, or near, Pella that the New Testament manuscripts were compiled. The Apostle Paul once cut up an awful shindy about the mischief of Ebionitism, and said that the Doctrine of the Trinity had nothing whatsoever to do with Judaism. It was a clean-cut departure from it. Yet when the Gospels came to be translated into other languages for our modern world, the New Testament Gospels were dyed dripping wet with the subvertings and deceptions of Ebionitism. Christian people today who say, "Yes, I know the Jews crucified Christ, and I know He said some atrocious things against them; also I know that Jews are practically wrecking our United States with their crazy incompetence -- all the same we have to remember that they are God's Chosen People, " -- these are but modern Ebionites, acquiescing to the very doctrine that the Sanhedrin went to much trouble and expense to promulgate and get incorporated into the Christian's "holy" books.
22. Were the Children of Israel persecuted by the Egyptians?
Answer -- Undoubtedly! -- but in the same manner that the Nazis of today are persecuting the Jews of the Fatherland, and from similar causations. The Children of Israel were not "persecuted" until they had overrun the land of Egypt, corrupted the Pharaohan court and Egyptian institutions, introduced -- or tried to introduce -- an ancient version of the NRA into Egyptian politics and economics, and subverted and debased pure-blooded Egyptian subjects. Finally Moses undertook to get them out, precisely as many an international Jewish or Zionist leader is trying to get the Jews out of Germany today but meeting with poor success because such an exodus means taking so much wealth -- or as the Israelites expressed it, "spoils" -- out of the country. When Pharaoh finally gave his consent to the departure of the Hebrews, he discovered to his consternation that they had taken with them vast amounts of portable valuables, and he chased after them with a force of chariots to recover this loot.
23. Was Pharaoh drowned in the Red Sea while the favored Hebrews passed over to Midian unscathed?
Answer -- He could not have been, unless his royal body was recovered, because his fairly well-authenticated mummy is preserved today in the British Museum.
24. Is the Exodus story a myth?
Answer -- No, but it appears to be a complete subversion of what actually took place. The debasing influence of the Habiru or People of Set became so great, that from time to time severe pogroms occurred. The Egyptians would gladly have let the Habiru depart, had the latter been willing to go empty-handed. But taking their property, much of it gotten as dishonestly as the New-Deal Jews of today have gotten their fortunes by exploitation or open graft, represented a severe economic problem. In the Scriptures as written by Jews, however, and thence handed to us for acceptance, all this hocus-pocus is glorified and blessed by the benedictions of Yahvah. As for the Chosen-People notion's being fallacious, we have the statement of a Jew, Dr. Oscar Levy of London, who declared quite frankly: "We the Jews invented the myth of being God's Chosen People!" Later, Dr. Levy died a very sudden and mysterious death. You can draw your own conclusions.
37. Why did the Jews deny Christ?
Answer -- Because He would not subscribe to the tenet that their little Midianite tribal deity, Yahvah, could possibly be the Great Creator of the Universe and the author of all living things, or that such a Great Creator had a Chosen People, or that the Hebrew religion as the Sanhedrin propounded it, was a true religion, or that the Jews as such were due to inherit the earth and rulership over all its institutions. No man who thus struck at the roots of Judaism, could possibly be their long looked-for Messiah. Furthermore, Christ was the outstanding "Jew-Baiter" of His day. He called the scribes and Pharisees hypocrites and whited sepulchres, and indicted the Sanhedrin to the teeth of its bigshots as being "of the Synagogue of Satan." In other words, by not being willing to "play the Jew game" to other nations and races, Christ was identified as an "enemy" of the Jews; and the Jews know of but one way in which to treat their enemies: Kill them!

OLD TESTAMENT REVISIONISM – Getting The Story Right!

THE BOOK OF ESTHER -- Purim And The Revenge/Terrorism Motive For Ritual Murders
This possibly mythical book was probably composed c. 485 -- 464 BC, during the reign of King Ahasueris, roughly concurrent with the reign of Xerxes I in Persia. Many Biblical commentators dispute the provenance and authenticity of ESTHER. Indeed it does read more like a novelette than a book of scripture, with no significant references to God. Some maintain its sole purpose was to establish the holiday of Purim, a day on which the ancient Jews ruthlessly struck back against their oppressors.
The plot is as follows. Esther has joined King Ahasueris’ harem as a concubine. She keeps her Hebrew origins a secret, yet the Jews have a prominent man serving in the government, one Mordecai. Mordecai, however, has a sworn, classically anti-Semitic, heavily embellished enemy called Haman. While his motives are unclear, but we are told that Haman hates the Jews, and does everything he can to destroy them. Some authors maintain Haman discovered Jewish financial malfeasance and other treachery in the kingdom, which could certainly be a possibility -- if the story were real, which it is not! We are told that Haman eventually persuades the King to sign a decree of extermination. Surely this must have been the first “final solution”, don’t you agree?! By now in the story, our heroine is styled as “Queen Esther," evidently progressing from mere harem prostitute to the position as chief wife to the monarch. To make a tedious story short, she intercedes with her concubinely charms, but there is good and bad news. The good news is (surprise, surprise!) that the King grants the lovely, comely Esther’s request. The bad news is that, supposedly, back in these olden days, once the King sends out a decree in his name with his seal attached, it cannot be rescinded. This does not really make much sense, as it seems that the all-powerful ruler could just issue another decree under his seal, but the plot of our story is not so simple. Instead, the King personally provides shelter and protection for the Jews, sheltering them from the impending “holocaust” by Haman. Since the death threat is over, the Jews rejoice with feasts and merriment. Along with these festivities, the Jews set about causing the demise and extermination of their enemies. Mind you, the original death threat is over. This bloody killing spree on the first Purim sprang solely from cold revenge, a well-established response in the history and scriptures of this people. THE BOOK OF ESTHER speaks for itself on the brutal, bloody events that followed. First, Esther contrives to have the King invite Haman to a state dinner, where they will unexpectedly attack him when he is off guard. Let the Bible tell the story of the covertly contrived and cowardly plot.
[Begin quoting.] The King Ahasueris said to Queen Esther, ‘Who is he that would presume to do this [that is, to kill all the Jews]?’ And Esther said, ‘A foe and an enemy! This wicked Haman!’ Then Haman was in terror before the king and queen ... for he saw that evil was determined against him by the king. So they hanged Haman on the gallows which he had prepared for Mordecai.
The Jews had light and gladness and joy and honor. And many from the peoples of the country declared themselves Jews for the fear of the Jews had fallen upon them. [While forced conversions to Judaism/Hebrewism are odd, they are not unknown. We continue as the Jews then prepare for their revenge, the real Purim festivities.]
... a day when the Jews should get the mastery over their foes, and the Jews gathered in their cities throughout all the provinces of King Ahasueris to lay hands on such as sought their hurt. And they could make no stand against them, for the fear of them [the Jews] had fallen upon all peoples.... So the Jews smote all their enemies with the sword, slaughtering and destroying them, and they did as they pleased to those who had hated them. In Susa the capitol itself the Jews slew and destroyed five hundred men ... and the ten sons of Haman....
Now the other Jews who were in the King’s provinces also gathered together ... and got relief from their enemies, and slew 75,000 of those who hated them. ...and on the fourteenth day they rested and made that a day of feasting and gladness. [End quoting; from ESTHER 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9.]
THE BOOK OF ESTHER is clearly an affirmation and sanctioning of tribal blood lust and total ethnic cleansing of enemies. If we seek a precedent for radical and total revenge against oppressors, we need look no further than the tale of Esther, the “Concubine-Queen.” The larger atavistic, primal archetype of blood revenge expresses itself in peculiar and particular ways on both the individual and race, sub-group levels. The larger ethno-personality of the Jewish tribes demonstrates itself in the bloody methods and extreme ferocity of their revenge. It really makes no difference whether ESTHER is an authentic account or not. This is unimportant and irrelevant to the central essential themes and motifs. What is very important is the state of mind of the authors. Even if concocted “out of whole cloth," it still reflects the basic archetypal elements of bloodthirsty and unrelenting revenge, so clearly demonstrated by this and many other Old Testament stories. There is no more powerful criminal motivation than a deep, dark, ever-abiding need for revenge.

PRECURSORS TO THE PROTOCOLS OF ZION:

We must be the most deceived population of all times, yet when the information-age possibilities are considered, we should be the best informed. But we are not, and are most often our own worst enemy -- the willingly deceived Euro-American. We accept, and proclaim from our pulpits and schools, the most idiotic drivel about the modern history of the world. If you do not see at least some of the roles certain conspiracy plans play in world history, then you are among the most deceived of all, so do not bother to read further! Here is a short item of interest, pointing to a program, plan, plot, cabal, or whatever you choose to call it, that has been operating for countless centuries. The most agreeable name is Zionism, but because the main participants (but not all!) were/are of the Turko-Mongol-Khazarian Central Asian Judaized tribe who began entering Europe in the late tenth century, the most accurate moniker could just as well be Khazarian Zionism. They are not Semites and their forebears never set foot in Palestine; nor did they originally speak Hebrew! The plans for their eventual success are partially revealed in several old documents. One of the most interesting appears below. This 1489/1492 piece seems based on “disaster contingency plans” and protocols already in place long before the letter writers posed their questions. And, just in case you don’t know, the plans are succeeding! Not 500 years ago, but now.
In 1889, the Revue des Etudes Juives, financed by James Rothschild, published two documents putting The Protocols in perspective, and that the Learned Elders of Zion have been carrying on their plan for centuries. On 13 January 1489 -- some sources date it, or a similar document, from Spain in 1492), Chemor (Chamorra), Jewish Rabbi of Arles in Provence, wrote to the Grand Sanhedrin, which then had its seat in Constantinople, for advice as the people of Arles were threatening their synagogues. What should they do? What follows are references to a Protocols-like plan, dating from much earlier. The reply is found in the 16th Century Spanish book, La Silva Curiosa, by Julio-Iniguez de Medrano (Paris Orry, 1608) ... with the following explanation: “This letter following was found in the archives of Toledo by the Hermit of Salamanca, while searching the ancient records of the kingdoms of Spain, and it is expressive and remarkable, I wish to write it here:
Beloved brethren in Moses, we have received your letter in which you tell us of your anxieties and misfortunes which you are enduring. We are pierced by as great pain to hear it as yourselves.
The advice of the Grand Satraps and Rabbis is the following:
1. As for what you say that the King of Spain (Ferdinand) obliges you to become Christians: do it, since you cannot do otherwise.
2. As for what you say about the command to despoil you of your property: make your sons merchants that they may despoil, little by little, the Christians of theirs.
3. As for what you say about making attempts on your lives: make your sons doctors and apothecaries, that they may take away Christian lives.
4. As for what you say of their destroying your synagogues: make your sons canons and clerics in order that they may destroy their churches.
5. As for the many other vexations you complain of: arrange that your sons become advocates and lawyers, and see that they always mix in affaires of State, that by putting Christians under your yoke you may dominate the world and be avenged on them.
6. Do not swerve from this order that we give you, because you will find by experience that humiliated as you are, you will reach the actuality of power.

In a Radio Roma broadcast, 20 April 1943, the eminent poet, philosopher and scholar Ezra Pound said:
”If or when one mentions the Protocols alleged to be of the Elders of Zion, one is frequently met with the reply: Oh, but they are a forgery. Certainly they are a forgery, and that is the one proof we have of their authenticity. The Jews have worked with forged documents for the past 24 hundred years, namely ever since they have had any documents whatsoever. And no one can qualify as a historian of this half century without having examined the Protocols. … What we know for certain is that they were published two decades ago. That Lord Sydenham wrote a preface to them. That their content has been traced to another sketch said to have appeared in the eighteen forties. Their interest lies in the type of mind, or the state of mind of their authors. …
What is interesting, perhaps most, to the historian is their definite campaign against history altogether, their declared intention to blot out the classics, to blot out the record, and to dazzle men with talk of tomorrow.”
While the Jews and their “court historians” love to rant on and on about The Protocols being a “forgery,” they never, ever refer to the preceding information or the distinct implication that The Protocols, as they were manifested in the late 19th century are but an overview, a portion of conspiracy plans that have been afoot for centuries. Read The Protocols again. Every point is either in full process or has already happened! Will the self-deceived ones ever wake up? If this were to happen, truly cataclysmic events might occur. The dark forces know this well, and that is why they fear the Protocols so much, and never cease in their mission to deter their circulation. Many Internet sites have them. Print them out. Pass them on. You never know where they might end up. Stay clearly sighted on an informational ministry. Spread the word.
Khazarian Zionism and the dark forces now ride the ascendant wave, and the warriors of truth and light are few and far between. This will change, but we are in a very low phase of the cosmic cycle, when the thugs seem to have their way.

ENDTIMES DOCTRINES FROM
AN INDO-ARYAN PERSPECTIVE

HYPOTHESIS: The basic, primordial, traditional symbols and archetypes of the Indo-Aryan spiritual mythos are part of a universal revelation, begun eons ago, of a body of knowledge commonly called the Ancient Mysteries. The deepest roots of these hoary traditions trace directly to the Indian subcontinent, the “hive” as Godfrey Higgins called it, nest and seedbed that brought forth the cultures and civilizations of the world. Among the ideas transmitted was that world history is cyclical in nature, broken down by the ancient mystics and gurus into various “ages” or “eons”. Each rotation of the cycle is accompanied by certain cultural and spiritual developments.
As the reader will see, among the various world religions, these do not differ all that greatly. Read the Catholic Fatima prophecies (and many others), read the Revelation/Apocalypse of St. John from whatever perspective you wish, tune into the end-times doctrines of hundreds of religions sects – they essentially agree with one another much more than they disagree. Moreover, much of it seems to correspond with what is said by secular voices too. According to many world religions and spiritual traditions, we are quite likely living in one of those “interesting times” near the end of one of these cosmic cycles. While I might have selected from several religions and collections of holy writ, I chose to go back in time to our ethno-cultural “hive” through the prophecies of the ancient Indo-European, Indo-Aryan root-culture. Where it seemed appropriate, I also included some very similar, almost parallel texts from the Bible.
SOURCE: While there are more than a few writers on these subjects, I believe I have discovered one of the most eloquent and lucid examples. In 1967, INDIAN MYTHOLOGY by Veronica Ions was published in London as one volume of a series of books featuring mythologies around the world. Since then, never reprinted, it has become a somewhat obscure volume. It is one of those “short books” (141pp. with beautiful illustrations); not many pages, but each one filled with a tremendous amount of information and insight for the informed reader. While the author says nothing of herself or personal beliefs, readers need not read far before realizing they have encountered both a writer truly inspired by the classic Indo-Aryan archetypes, as well as a master expositor of this often-difficult subject matter.
GOD IS DEEPLY PRESENT IN THE HOLY CYCLES OF TIME.
In the Indo-Aryan ancient religion (later called Hinduism), world history is viewed as cyclical, each phase marked by the coming of various Avatars. That is, specially empowered spirits, demigods, gods, and powers of the First Cause, materializations of the godhead, appearing with the change of the age/yuga.
“You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times. An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign shall be given to it except the sing of Jonah.” St. Matthew 16:3b-4.
“Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe.” St. John 4:48.
TIME AND THE CREATION OF THE UNIVERSE
[Begin quoting.] “The Kaliyuga, or age of degeneration, is the one through which we are now passing. Dharma is one-legged and helpless, and all but one quarter of virtue has vanished. In this age, lasting 432,000 years, during which the deity is black, the majority of men are Sudras or slaves. They are wicked, quarrelsome and beggar-like and they are unlucky because they deserve no luck. They value what is degraded, eat voraciously and indiscriminately, and live in cities filled with thieves. They are dominated by their women folk, who are shallow, garrulous and lascivious, bearing too many children. They are oppressed by their kings and by the ravages of nature. Their misery can only end with the coming of Kalki, the destroyer.” [End quoting, p. 25.]
Possibly offended women readers must keep in mind that this is written by a female author in the late 1960s! Most of it needs no comment at all. Nowadays, we are more enslaved more than ever, and soon, like the slaves of sci-fi novels, we shall, sooner than you think, have an implant for eternal monitoring and financial transactions, surely the “mark of the beast” if there ever was one! We live in a wicked, corrupt and degraded culture, filled throughout with gluttonous eaters and substance abuse problems, lots of thieves in the cities (in both “high” and “low” places). While Ions targets females, I surely do believe that both sexes have ample examples of “shallow, garrulous and lascivious” people. As to “too many children”, this is strikingly obvious in more than a few examples of grossly neglected and under educated young folk of all races, programmed to do nothing other than slave in menial jobs under the current world order.
If you are wondering about the “black god”, this reference is surely to Kali, a most misunderstood Hindu deity. Kali is the manifestation of God as Destroyer, “Terminator” if you will. Hindus do not so much “worship” Kali as they acknowledge, with awe and respect, the terrible destructive power of the deity expressed in this incarnation and symbology. If she is to preside over the demise of present civilization, then this is not going to be good at all; Kali is just not a nice girl! “Even more terrifying… is Kali, the black earth-mother, whose rites involve sacrificial killings – at one time of humans – and who is associated with dark, obscene rites and devil worship. She has black skin and a hideous tusked face, smeared with blood, the brow bearing a third eye…. She has four arms, and holds in one a weapon, in another the head of a giant, dripping blood; the other two raised to bless worshippers; the hands end in claws. Her body is naked except for her ‘ornaments’, which include earrings made of little children, a necklace of snakes, another of skulls, another of the heads of her sons, and a belt from which hang demon heads.” (p. 93) If you think these old words are scary and eerie, then you obviously have not been to a horror movie lately, where these archetypes of evil and wickedness play over and over again for our children. So then, are we “unlucky because we deserve no luck”? You decide.
“Nation will rise against nation… and there will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences; and there will be terrors and great signs from heaven.” St. Luke 21:10-11.
Haven’t had enough yet? If you are not already convinced that we live in the concluding cycle, then consider these additional words of Veronica Ions as she describes the times very near the end, when the final Avatar of this cycle, and the direct agent of destruction, Kalki, will come. According to the ancient Indian chronology as presented by Ions, there is a series of ten ages with ten Avatars, Buddha being the ninth. Whether you “believe in this” or not, just read the words that describe those times and think of what we are living through right now.
“The tenth and the last incarnation of Vishnu has yet to come. It will usher in the end of our present age. Social and spiritual life will have degenerated to their lowest point. Sovereigns will set the tone for the final decline; they will be mean-minded and of limited power but during their short reigns they will attempt to profit to the maximum from their power. They will kill their subjects and their neighbours will follow their example, and nothing will count but outward show. Even the Brahmins [upper classes] will have nothing to distinguish them but their sacred thread, while the apparent wealth of materialists will be an empty display, for the real worth will have departed from everything. Truth and love will disappear from the earth, falsehood will be the common currency of social existence and sensuality the sole bond between man and wife. …the earth will be worshipped for its mineral treasures alone. The sacred rites will disappear: mere washing will pass for purification; mutual assent will replace the marriage ceremony; bluff will replace learning; and the robes of office will convey the right to govern. Finally, even the appearance of civilization will vanish: the people will revert to an animal existence…. At this point of degeneration Vishnu will appear in person on earth, riding a white horse, Kalki, which is the tenth incarnation. Vishnu will ride through the world, his arm aloft and bearing a drawn sword blazing like a comet. He will accomplish the final destruction of the wicked and prepare for the renewal of creation and resurgence of virtue in the next Mahayuga.” [Ions, p. 72.]
“And I saw, and behold, a pale horse, and its rider’s name was Death, and Hades followed him; and they were given power… to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.” …
“Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! He who sat upon it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. … From his mouth issues a sharp sword with which to smite the nations….” The Apocalypse of St. John 6:8; 19:11, 15.
Without belaboring the point, at least some readers must recognize that the scriptures and prophecies of several religious traditions point to cataclysmic events in our own times. And, without belaboring the parallel symbology, the “Man On A White” horse is both a secular and a spiritual familiar metaphor. I am sure that my astute readers can fill in their own congruencies from here, so I shall say no more.
This is, admittedly, a bleak and black scenario. But in spite of that, there is a breath of hope in the idea of the coming Mahayuga or Great Age, essentially a message of hope, or as Ions said, “renewal of creation and resurgence of virtue”. But before this can come, the present age of degradation and degeneration must come to its timely end in. It must decline, deteriorate, decompose, and decay, eventually devolving completely. But from there, a new birth, a new rebirth, a new life, a new world, a new age (Cosmic Cycle) begins. Christian scriptures, and others, tell us to look for the proper signs and symbols to understand the gnosis, the mysteries, of the end times. God is deeply present in the Holy Cycles of Time.
The Chinese sages contributed their own unique wisdom is contriving their written character for “crisis” -- it combines two symbols, those for “danger” and “opportunity”. The Chinese, reportedly, also said that one of the worst curses imaginable was “May you live in interesting times.”! Even if we agree on nothing else, surely we can agree that we deep in the middle of a most “interesting” epoch. May the gods, devis, of the ancestors guide us and be with us all.
ISLAM AND JUDAISM:
SOME SURPRISING SIMILARITIES

This writer is sure that some readers will take issue with this article. It is presented in the interest of truth and understanding in a time of horrible and violent conflict on the world scene. More than a few commentators have said that “World War Three” has already begun, and that the central characters are not nations, but religions and cultures. I am quite open to honest and respectful disagreement and dialogue, hence your comments are invited.
Our state, church and media “authorities” most often tell us that Christianity, Judaism and Islam all worship the same God and thus share a connection. Indeed, they are dubbed the "three great monotheistic faiths" as if there is a true kinship or compatibility. While there are similarities and likenesses, it is the opinion of this writer that this must never be mistaken for true harmony. While many Christians seem to imagine that there is harmony, or at least the possibility thereof, this is not the case. Neither the Judaic Talmud nor the Koran allow for such a relationship. On the present-day scene with the Palestinian conflict, readers see the greatest animosity between Judaism and Islam. But as ironic as it may sound, there are surprising likenesses between the two religions.
WAS MUHAMMAD DESCENDED FROM JUDAIZED ARABS?
In his pre-prophet days, Muhammad was probably a "Hanif", a member of a sect claiming spiritual descent from Abraham. Moreover, several Arab tribes had adopted Judaism of some form. One (like the later Central Asian Khazars) became a Judaic kingdom for a time. The exact origin of the Jewish tribes of the Arabian Peninsula is debatable. Some say the ancient inhabitants of the Meccan district were descended from the Amalekites, Sabaens, Nabathaeans and other former Canaanite tribes peripheral to the Judeans, but who had adopted the Judaic religion. Some writers say that modern Jews, if not descended from the Turko-Mongol Khazar coverts of the 8th century, are largely the scions of Judaized Canaanites and related tribes. If we accept these claims, then the Arabized “Jews” would have been just as “Jewish” as most of the ones from Palestine who were, like the Herodian Idumean kings, interbred with other Palestinian/Canaanite tribes. At all settled spots in the Hejaz (Yathrib, Taima, Khaibar, Mecca and Taif) were colonies of Arabized Jews. While they maintained some elements of the faith of old Palestine, they spoke Arabic and had adopted Arab names.
Among several scholars who addressed the matter was British Arabist, D. G. Hogarth. “In the middle of the fifth century there were enough Jews even in Yemen to impose rule on the Himyar Highlands; and thence some of those found later in Hejaz may have come back with the Arab migrants. Others hailed from the Euphratean country and had been Arabized before leaving their homes. Among these it is worth remembering, were ancestors of the Meccan Kuraish (Muhammad’s tribe) if a later Arab belief was well founded. The Caliph Ali, from whom we have it, was but a loose talker; and it is not inconsistent with the Prophet’s claim to be an Arab of Arabs ‘of the stock of Kuraish and the speech of Beni Saad’, or with the general creed of Moslems ever since. But a grain of truth in it would help to explain the remarkable commercial instinct and enterprise of the Kuraish, the outstanding capacity for (business and commercial) affairs shown by some of its families… whose true origins had been forgotten by the Prophet’s time.” (Hogarth, D. G., Arabia (Oxford: At The Clarendon Press, 1922, pp. 6-7).) Presence of these Arabized Judaists would also account for the tradition of monotheism in an area of intense polytheism, and for its preference by Muhammad and those of the Kuraish tribe. Some say the monotheistic traditions were from Christian influences, but they are much older.
In 1878, a Turkish Army Major, Osman Bey, penned a book (Jewish World Conquest) in which he addressed the origin of the Jews. “The Jews were, at one time, an Arab tribe, living like the other Arab tribes upon plunder and the productions of their herds. The Old Testament makes no statements from which we might gather the descent of the Jews from the Arabs. Arabic tradition, however, and especially the Koran, fixes the fact that Abraham (Ibraham-Allehi-Selam), an Arab patriarch, lived with his tribe and his herds in Arabia (Hiddjaz) and laid the foundation of the holy Raaba (Kiabeh) [Kaaba], the temple in Mecca, which has, at all times been the seat of monotheistic worship, and where, to this day, prayers are offered up to the God of Abraham, Ismael and Mohammed. We do not know the circumstances which induced Abraham to leave Arabia with his tribe but it was, doubtless, a desire to improve their condition which led the to emigrate. This assumption is all the more justified, as the same desire has, at all times, impelled the nomadic populations to invade the lands adjoining the Arabian peninsula. … [Moreover, a similar religious heritage is clearly found] in the doctrines of the Talmud as well as the Koran – two books that are a rich mine of Semitic ideas and traditions. … Upon their departure from Arabia, Abraham and his people turned towards Mesopotamia. But their stay there was of short duration, the proverbial fruitfulness of the land of Canaan having attracted them. … After their return from Egypt [presented by Osman as a stop along the way] the Jews fell with renewed rage upon the rich lands of Canaan, where they became wealthy and powerful at the expense of the native-born inhabitants.”
The very latest DNA genetic studies indicate a close relationship between Palestinian Arabs and Israeli Jews – so close that it is quite difficult to distinguish one from the other. My unpublished paper, “Of Genes, Jews And Jumps To Judgment: Has Genetic Testing Closed The Question Of Jewish Origins?” deals more extensively with the genetic testing results. See also articles posted on www.khazaria.com, which detail the very latest scientific research. While there is no room to do it justice in this essay, it is my position that the common genetic vector was interbreeding with the Turks. The Khazars converts of c.740A.D. were a Turkic-Mongol tribe, and the Arabs, Arabized Jews (or Judaized Arabs, whichever you prefer) and Jews of Palestine interbred with Turks during the long centuries of Ottoman rule. Hence, all of them share a genetic heritage in spite of the fact that the Ashkenazi Khazar convert Jews never set foot in Palestine until relatively modern times.
CHRISTIAN INFLUENCES ON MUHAMMAD
The old Israelite traditions and the later Talmudism were not the only influence on the founder of Islam. Some writers say that Muhammad was a Christian before creating his own strange religious blend, but there is no way to conclusively determine this. There was a Christian community that existed in Yemen when it was under Abyssinian rulers in the fourth century, with the exception of intervals of Jewish predominance. A Christian Bishop is said to have preached with great eloquence in Mecca, and was heard by Muhammad. Even the great pantheon of pagan gods and goddesses in the pre-Islamic Kaaba was influenced by Judaic and Christian monotheistic beliefs. Hogarth tells us: “The story that an icon of the Byzantine Virgin was associated in the Kaaba with the female idols of the Arabs, Uzza and Allat, should not be lightly dismissed; and there is some reason to suspect that Allah himself was not older at Mecca than the advent of the (Judaized) Kuraish.” Once again, the commercial acumen of the tribe is important to remember. “The Meccans were in the exceptional position of being able to make more out of polytheistic paganism than any of them expected to make by monotheism.” They introduced the traditions that the Zemzem well and the Kaaba were established by Abraham, father of the Semites. “But one suspects that the well had known a goddess before it knew a god. Even in the local legend, Abraham finds an old woman in possession. If the Kuraish imported Allah, who some think was the particular god of their tribe, they may well have imported Abraham too.” And this was very profitable. “The lodgement and supply of Pilgrims seem to have been regulated on a fixed system; and their annual resort was an active cause of commercial and political relations with other communities.” While Taif and Yathrib were rivals, they lacked the organization of Mecca. Petra was no longer a rival either as it lay well outside the peninsula or was already in decay. (See Hogarth.)
THE KORAN SPEAKS ON AND JEWS CHRISTIANS
As most readers are probably unfamiliar with the Koran, the following section is presented for your enlightenment. Essentially and fundamentally, the Koran allows for no other religions. Pagans are particularly despised, as the present-day animists of southern Sudan know, as well as the equally despised Christians of that sad region. The destruction of the centuries-old Buddha statues by the Afghan Taliban represents how a Muslim, strictly speaking, should handle such pre-Islamic barbarism. “The People of the Book,” that is, Jews and Christians, are to be tolerated (barely) – but taxed. As are critics of any religion, I will be inevitably accused of taking all of this out of context. Yet that conclusion begs the basic question of why the verses are there in the first place. For hundreds of millions of Muslims, they are the irrevocable words of Allah, and for the Islamist extremists and jihadis, they are of crucial importance. With that said, please consider the following texts. (Suras, Chapters and Ayahs, verses taken from Abdullah Yusuf Ali’s translation on the Radio Islam website.)
2:62. Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in God and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
2:113. The Jews say: "The Christians have naught (to stand) upon; and the Christians say: "The Jews have naught (To stand) upon." Yet they (Profess to) study the (same) Book. Like unto their word is what those say who know not; but God will judge between them in their quarrel on the Day of Judgment.
2:120. Never will the Jews or the Christians be satisfied with thee unless thou follow their form of religion. Say: "The Guidance of God,-that is the (only) Guidance." Wert thou to follow their desires after the knowledge which hath reached thee, then wouldst thou find neither Protector nor helper against God.
2:135. They say: "Become Jews or Christians if ye would be guided (To salvation)." Say thou: "Nay! (I would rather) the Religion of Abraham the True, and he joined not gods with God."
2.140. Or do ye say that Abraham, Isma'il Isaac, Jacob and the Tribes were Jews or Christians? Say: Do ye know better than God? Ah! who is more unjust than those who conceal the testimony they have from God? but God is not unmindful of what ye do!
4:46. Of the Jews there are those who displace words from their (right) places, and say: "We hear and we disobey"; and "Hear what is not Heard"; and "Ra'ina"; with a twist of their tongues and a slander to Faith. If only they had said: "What hear and we obey"; and "Do hear"; and "Do look at us"; it would have been better for them, and more proper; but God hath cursed them for their Unbelief; and but few of them will believe.
4:160. For the iniquity of the Jews We made unlawful for them certain (foods) good and wholesome which had been lawful for them;- in that they hindered many from God's Way;-
5:15. From those, too, who call themselves Christians, We did take a covenant, but they forgot a good part of the message that was sent them: so we estranged them, with enmity and hatred between the one and the other, to the day of judgment. And soon will God show them what it is they have done.
5:20. (Both) the Jews and the Christians say: "We are sons of God, and his beloved." Say: "Why then doth He punish you for your sins? Nay, ye are but men,- of the men he hath created: He forgiveth whom He pleaseth, and He punisheth whom He pleaseth: and to God belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between: and unto Him is the final goal (of all)"
5:44. O Apostle! let not those grieve thee, who race each other into unbelief: (whether it be) among those who say "We believe" with their lips but whose hearts have no faith; or it be among the Jews,- men who will listen to any lie,- will listen even to others who have never so much as come to thee. They change the words from their (right) times and places: they say, "If ye are given this, take it, but if not, beware!" If any one's trial is intended by God, thou hast no authority in the least for him against God. For such - it is not God's will to purify their hearts. For them there is disgrace in this world, and in the Hereafter a heavy punishment.
5:47. It was We who revealed the law (to Moses): therein was guidance and light. By its standard have been judged the Jews, by the prophets who bowed (as in Islam) to God's will, by the rabbis and the doctors of law: for to them was entrusted the protection of God's book, and they were witnesses thereto: therefore fear not men, but fear me, and sell not my signs for a miserable price. If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what God hath revealed, they are (no better than) unbelievers.
5.54. O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily God guideth not a people unjust.
5:72. Those who believe (in the Qur'an), those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Sabians and the Christians,- any who believe in God and the Last Day, and work righteousness,- on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
5:85. Strongest among men in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans; and nearest among them in love to the believers wilt thou find those who say, "We are Christians": because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant.
WHEN CONVERSION FAILS, JIHAD IS THE NEXT STEP
Because of his Christo-Gnostic-Judaic-quasi-Abrahamic influences, Muhammad naturally expected Christians and Jews, and more especially, those of the Arab-Jewish tribes, to see the light and convert to his new revelation. Surely, thought Muhammad, they will follow me and recognize Allah, but of course, they did not. Then as now, Jews of any kind are most averse to conversion. When these conversion efforts miserably failed, jihad became the chosen strategy. As well as ridding the newly conquered Islamic lands of the idolater-Christians, Muhammad later annihilated the Jewish-Arab tribes of North Africa in one of the first bloody Islamic Jihads. This is a characteristic of Islam. The Ones In Submission to Allah (Muslims) must tolerate the infidels only for so long. Infidels must be given a chance to convert, but if they refuse, then conversion by conquest through holy war (jihad) is seen as not only legitimate, but demanded by the Koran.
Even so, this should be judged in context. As exemplified amply in the Old Testament, and foreshadowing the Christian Crusaders yet to come, early Islam follows an ancient tradition of holy war and murder in the name of a god. Sir Richard Burton said, "And did Moses disdain to place carnal weapons in the hands of his people? The great Lawgiver of Israel sanctioned the murder in cold blood of women and child captives. Even kings were hewed in pieces before the Lord." (The Jew, The Gypsy And El Islam, 1898.) This is a fascinating line of inquiry to follow as it leads to the conclusion that what we today know as jihad has both Mosaic and Talmudic-Jewish roots. One of many famous stories about Muhammad concerns an attempted poisoning by a Jewess. After this, not to mention the consistently unrelenting and often bitter rejections by the Jews, he finally gave up on converting them. Muslims were now told to face Mecca for prayer, where previously, they faced Jerusalem.
OTHER RITUAL SIMILARITIES
To some degree, both early Islam and early Christianity may be seen as efforts to reform, purify and unify Judaic and pre-Judaic Hebrew-Israelitish beliefs. But while the church gave up most Mosaic and later Talmudic/Pharisaic law codes, circumcision, ritual foods, and the like, Islam did not. As a matter of fact, ritual food preparations are almost identical. Muslim Halal food may be substituted when a Talmudic Kosher meal is not available, and vice versa. Both the Orthodox Jew and the devoutly observant Muslim prefer the unshaved beard, though the Islamists omit the Hasidic forelocks. Most mosques, like Orthodox synagogues, separate male and female worshippers. Women are not really regarded very highly in either faith. The Jewish Sabbath begins on Friday evening. Islam has no real Sabbath but Friday, often in the evening, became the day when a Mullah or Imam preaches a sermon and reads from the Koran. Islam, like Judaism, has no liturgical music or dance (except in Sufi mystical sects). A mosque (masjid in Arabic) and a synagogue have no statues or images. They are plain and unadorned so that worshippers are not distracted. If there is any central element other than the pulpit, it is a copy of the respective scriptures.
The scriptures of Islam and Judaism have a similar place in both religions. We have the Koran, which has ample texts refuting or abrogating (“abridging” say the Muslims) others. Since the Koranic chapters are arranged by length, there is no way to tell which text might have come first. And then we have the Hadith (“Traditions”), which function like the Talmud, as a guide or secondary scriptures, to interpret or get around, avoid and evade what is found in the primary ones. Looking at clergy of all religions, a Mullah is more akin to the rabbinical model, as he is, above all, a judge, an interpreter of the Sharia of Allah just as the Rabbi interprets the Torah and Talmud. Sharia Law operates like Rabbinical Talmudic Law. One submits disputes to a court of Mullahs (the word means judge) and Koranic scholars who decide the case. This is essentially the same as a Judaic beit din court in which Rabbis and scholars determine the results. Both Judaism and Islam might be best described as legal systems rather than religions.
OTHER SIMILARITIES
In another interesting parallel, one most often changes his or her name after converting to either Islam or Orthodox Talmudism. Practically every convert to Islam changes their name, and some Jews do the same. As most readers know, immigrants to Israel have the right to adopt a Jewish name when moving there. There are other similarities as well, but lately on TV, some of them are uncannily mirrored in rituals and educational practices. Koranic study, like Talmudic study, is intense. If he (like Jews, women are not encouraged to study scripture) learns to recite the Koran from memory, a Muslim then bears the honorific, Hafiz. Watch the young Islamic boys at Madrassah schools in their skullcaps swaying back and forth reciting the Koran just as Jewish boys in yarmulkes recite the Talmud. The Jewish swaying and nodding is often seen at the "Wailing Wall" in Jerusalem. Burial practices are similar as well. The actual rites are simple -- what we see on TV at Muslim martyr-funerals are the public parts, heavily politicized, especially the parade with the ubiquitous Martyr Photo (posing for the photo is a big deal accompanied by a celebration) plastered on big posters carried by the mourning crowd, always accompanied by a cacophony of ululating Muslim women. Muslims, as do the Orthodox Talmudist Jews, inter the body very quickly after the death.
Formerly, all three religions forbade usury. Christianity gave this up in the 1500s, and Talmudic Jews can practice all the usury they want with non-Jews, but Islamic banking still holds to the non-usurious model. Naturally, the international banking and trade cartel would like to suppress and destroy this rival system, but seem to be content with merely co-opting it. Whether Interest is charged or not, every culture must have money, and money comes through the international banking cartel. Again, this is a topic worth further exploration as the Islamic banking system could provide a useful non-usurious paradigm.
In another likeness, both Jews and Muslims are quite exclusive, essentially regarding those who do not practice their true religion as heathens at best and cattle/goyim sub-humans at worst. One who has submitted to the purity of Islam does not make friends or confidants of such types. Strongly echoing the Talmud, the Koran says: "O ye who believe! Take not Jews and Christians for your friends and protectors; they are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them is of them. Verily, Allah guideth not a people unjust." (Sura 5:51) Think of this verse, then think of all the trouble Islamic countries have with U.S. military and cultural presence in Muslim lands. No wonder Osama bin Laden and many others think that the Saudi royals apostatized and betrayed the Koran by allowing American military protectors on holy soil. And perhaps the highlighted part of the verse is not so far off base when one thinks of the "Judeo-Christian" U.S. and its backing of Israeli Zionist state terrorism against Palestinians.
