Antidepressants have been proven to at least double the risk of suicide in children in short-term clinical trials. Contrary to popular belief, depressed people did not usually kill themselves before the advent of these drugs.

According to researchers, ritilan is similar to cocaine (why give this kind of stimulant to a "hyperactive" child?) and benzodiazepines (tranquilizers) are harder to quit than heroin.

A key ingredient in psych meds is fluoride, the same poison added to tap water. Fluoride dumbs people down, suppresses hormones, causes early puberty and suppresses the thyroid.

A high number of school shootings have involved kids on antidepressants.

Psychiatrist Peter Breggin reveals 50% of children taking these drugs become agitated, irritable and disturbed, according to FDA studies.

Breggin exposes "at least a DOUBLING of the rate of suicide attempts in children" even in short-term clinical trials, and questions whether the drugs are even effective against depression.

"These drugs don't help children," Breggin says.

Mind altering drugs may be the cause of violence among school children, according to some doctors and other experts. Millions of children are legally taking drugs similar to cocaine in schools every day.

The drugs are Ritalin, Prozac, and others.

Other shootings and violent acts at schools across the nation have been
committed by children receiving psychiatric care, counseling, and drugs such as Ritalin, according to several groups.

At least two organizations claim that over-use of Ritalin is to blame for the escalating incidents of children committing acts of violence on other children.

They claim the problem has reached pandemic proportions and will get worse before it gets better. Other experts place the blame on inadequate parenting, while legislators propose new laws.

A report issued in 1995 by the Drug Enforcement Agency warned that Ritalin; shares many of the pharmacological effects of ... cocaine.

Since 1988, the year after Prozac was approved for adult use, there have been 46 incidents of school violence. Of these: 18 were reported to be taking psychiatric drugs or withdrawing from them at the time; 18 kids, age 11 to 19, killed 47 people and wounded 104; 9 were on antidepressants; 5 on stimulants Ritalin or Dexedrine; 1 was taking a tranquilizer; and 3 others took unspecific psychiatric drugs.

How widespread is the drugging of our children by a profession that claims they are only helping? The Journal of American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry reported a 500 percent increase between 1987 and 2002 of children age 18 years and younger. 500%!

Reports of 930 acts of violence over an eight year period were caused by individuals of all ages shown to be on SSRI antidepressants. Does this sound alarming to anyone?

FDA warning labels are now mandatory on such drugs. Why then do we as a people continue to allow these drugs to exist? According to Harvard Medical School report, "people feel like jumping out of their skins... make people suicidal of homicidal.".
