Our four daughters have not been vaccinated. We will never vaccinate our children. We live in a rural community and mix with alternative like-minded parents whose children go to the same alternative Rudolph Steiner School as ours. Some of the alternative parents have also refused to vaccinate their children.

Before we had children, Fiona and I read many books and articles on vaccinations, written mainly by parents of children damaged by vaccination or by doctors standing up against the lies streaming from the powerful drug companies. With our eldest daughter Jasmin turning 9 shortly and looking back over the years of her good health, we are so glad we made the right decision to protect her from being attacked by synthetic drugs that can live in her body for a lifetime.

Comparing our children with other children in our neighbourhood who don't eat organic foods, are vaccinated, eat white sugar and lots of processed foods etc, they seem to get sick quite regularly every year, while our kids get sick a couple of times per year and usually for 24 hours, and its over. Fiona and I hardly ever get sick either. Over the past ten years considering everything we have gone through, we can count being sick on one hand.

We feel that it is poor nutrition, lack of emotional stability, watching rubbish TV, being vaccinated with synthetic drugs containing terrible things, the drinking of fluoride and the intake coming from a wide range of poisons/chemicals and parasites within most processed/rubbish foods, compromises a child's immune system. Once the immune system has been compromised the body and the mind is open to attack by anything that gets passed the immune system.

I have always felt that it was fear and propaganda tactics that seduced the population into being vaccinated. Today, I feel that it is now part of the eugenics program to cut back the world population to under 500 million. The people behind global vaccination are psychopaths. Now they want to make it compulsory to vaccinate young women against cervical cancer. What a load of rubbish this is. Considering the synthetic propylene alcohol emulsifiers used in women's cosmetic products, toiletries, hair care, washing powders, and the tampons containing chemicals and bleaches, compounded by poor nutrition and childhood vaccination, are the cause of cervical cancer.

Most, if not all diseases like cancer, parkinsons, alzheimers is a modern phenomena. All the great native cultures did not experience a flood of diseases throughout their communities, year after year like ours do. They looked after their immune system. All orthodox/alternative healings from ancient indigenous cultures was about keeping the immune system strong and fortified all the time.

The common denominator to all modern diseases is the introduction of the 80,000+ poisons, chemicals, mould, fungus and hormones circulating amongst us and the depletion of minerals and vitamins in the fruit and vegetables we eat. Add to this the stress of modern living, including debts and pollution, and most men and women are prime candidates for disease. Unfortunately, the unknown Psycho strike weapon of Chemtrails being sprayed almost everyday in our skies, introduces another new set of dynamics that will compromise our immune system so Fiona and I are always on the lookout for learning new ways of combating the chemtrails. We will include this new research in this website when we have gathered all the information.

While protesting that vaccines were 'totally safe' and you should still vacinate your kid totally, the FDA announced a committee to investigate the practice of putting mercury into some of the vaccines as a possible source of toxin, especially to young babies.

Mercury is a toxin so deadly that small amounts of it in tooth fillings has been suspect of causing serious neurological symptoms.

The government and the manufacturers of the vaccines are not letting us in on WHICH vaccines contain mercury. They claim the mercury was added to keep the bacteria count low. Perhaps it is the mercury content and not the vaccine itself which might explain some of the strange side effects noted such as autism.

More Proof Childhood Vaccines Cause Diabetes

BALTIMORE (PRNewswire) -- The prestigious peer reviewed journal, Journal of Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism published a study this week by Dr. J. Bart Classen, an immunologist at Classen Immunotherapies, and David Carey Classen, an infectious disease specialist at the University of Utah, providing support for a causal relationship between several common pediatric vaccines and the development of insulin dependent diabetes. Their previously published work proved the hemophilus vaccine, a common pediatric vaccine, caused a 25% rise in insulin dependent diabetes in children under the age of 7.

Classen's research indicates most cases of diabetes caused by vaccines occur between 24 to 48 months after immunization of young children but the delay can be shorter in older children with prior damage to their pancreas. The time delay between vaccination and diabetes corresponds exactly to work from several independent groups which showed a similar delay between the initiation of autoimmunity to the insulin secreting islet cells and the development of diabetes.

"Our results conclusively prove there is a causal relationship between immunization schedules and diabetes. We believe immunization schedules can be made safer," stated Dr. Bart Classen. "Our findings help identify those who have been injured by vaccines and are eligible for compensation." Parents who think their children may have developed diabetes or any other autoimmune disease from vaccines must file a claim with the US government within 3 years of the onset of the disease in order to ensure eligibility for compensation. There is generally no cost for filing a claim.

US Scientists Back Autism Link to MMR Vaccine

The measles virus has been found in the guts of children with a form of autism, renewing fears over the safety of the MMR jab.

American researchers have revealed that 85 per cent of samples taken from autistic children with bowel disorders contain the virus. The strain is the same as the one used in the measles, mumps and rubella triple vaccine.

The findings will spark fresh concern about MMR, because they back theories of a causal link between the jab, autism and painful gut disorders suffered by a number of autistic children.

The study replicates findings made by the gastroenterologist Dr Andrew Wakefield in 1998 and Prof John O'Leary, a pathologist, in 2002.

Parents say their children were developing normally until they had the MMR jab, given when a child is between 12- and 18-months-old. The children now suffer from regressive autism.

One theory is that the virus passes through the gut, causing damage, and into the bloodstream, from where it is able to attack the brain.

More than 2,000 families claim that their children have suffered damage but the Department of Health reiterated last night that MMR is safe, a stance supported by the British Medical Association and all the Royal Colleges. Last year Government scientists failed to reproduce research results by Dr Wakefield.
Research to be presented this week in Montreal, Canada, provides fresh evidence that the measles virus is present in the guts of autistic children. Dr Stephen Walker, of the Wake Forest University School of Medicine, North Carolina, studied children with regressive autism and bowel disease. "Of the handful of results we have in so far, all are vaccine strain," he said.

I have a personal interest in vaccines since my older brother was autistic. Jerry was a happy energetic toddler, speaking simple sentences, and already picking out tunes on our old piano. That all ended when he was vaccinated for DTP. He ran a high fever for 5 days and when it ended he had disappeared. He no longer spoke; and his play became aimless, repetitive and limited in any interaction. My parent’s lives became consumed in going from doctor to doctor – hospital to hospital seeking an answer. Some said he was hard of hearing, others said it was just delayed development. NOBODY informed my parents that the vaccine given contained mercury.

There has been a 536% increase in autism (other auto immune diseases) in direct proportion to the great increase of vaccines being indiscriminately given to children. It is nothing short of criminal negligence in pumping viruses, bacteria, mercury, aluminum and formaldehyde (ingredients in vaccines) into vulnerable and powerless children! What would my brother have been – or the multitudes of other children whose lives were stolen by injection? Even minute levels of mercury are highly toxic to nervous and immune systems! There are varying degrees of autism – some more severe than others. Some are very sensitive to touch – light and sound. Insanely, you have the $hills of the pharmaceuticals, and their counterparts in government, giving the PR script that ‘autism is just being better recognized today’.

HELLO – if you have ever lived with an autistic child; there is NO question of something being drastically amiss! My brother was extremely sensitive to sound – thus we were forbidden to cry in our house. If we were in a supermarket, and a baby started to cry, we had to leave immediately, as my brother would become quite agitated and violent. My parents unable to afford the $25,000 a year for private care (he was getting too unpredictable and hard to handle) and had to put him in a state institution (age 12) where he was murdered by caregivers at age 21. I went to work in this place, years after his death, and the death of my parents. I found out first hand what went on behind closed doors (another story).

After reading thousands of pages of medical reports, documents, Congressional testimony, etc, NOTHING will alter my studied opinion, that vaccines are responsible for the great increase in autism, learning disabilities, and numerous auto immune diseases in today’s children! Vaccines show sinister side

If two dozen once-jittery mice at UBC are telling the truth postmortem, the world’s governments may soon be facing one hell of a lawsuit. New, so-far-unpublished research led by Vancouver neuroscientist Chris Shaw shows a link between the aluminum hydroxide used in vaccines, and symptoms associated with Parkinson’s, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s disease), and Alzheimer’s.

Shaw is most surprised that the research for his paper hadn’t been done before. For 80 years, doctors have injected patients with aluminum hydroxide, he said, an adjuvant that stimulates immune response.

“This is suspicious,” he told the Georgia Straight in a phone interview from his lab near Heather Street and West 12th Avenue. “Either this [link] is known by industry and it was never made public, or industry was never made to do these studies by Health Canada. I’m not sure which is scarier.”

Similar adjuvants are used in the following vaccines, according to Shaw’s paper: hepatitis A and B, and the Pentacel cocktail, which vaccinates against diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, polio, and a type of meningitis.

To test the link theory, Shaw and his four-scientist team from UBC and Louisiana State University injected mice with the anthrax vaccine developed for the first Gulf War. Because Gulf War Syndrome looks a lot like ALS, Shaw explained, the neuroscientists had a chance to isolate a possible cause. All deployed troops were vaccinated with an aluminum hydroxide compound. Vaccinated troops who were not deployed to the Gulf developed similar symptoms at a similar rate, according to Shaw.

After 20 weeks studying the mice, the team found statistically significant increases in anxiety (38 percent); memory deficits (41 times the errors as in the sample group); and an allergic skin reaction (20 percent). Tissue samples after the mice were “sacrificed” showed neurological cells were dying. Inside the mice’s brains, in a part that controls movement, 35 percent of the cells were destroying themselves.

“No one in my lab wants to get vaccinated,” he said. “This totally creeped us out. We weren’t out there to poke holes in vaccines. But all of a sudden, oh my God—we’ve got neuron death!”

At the end of the paper, Shaw warns that “whether the risk of protection from a dreaded disease outweighs the risk of toxicity is a question that demands our urgent attention.”

He’s not the only one considering that.

The charge that there’s a sinister side to magic bullets isn’t new. With his pen blazing, celebrity journalist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. popularized vaccine scepticism with his article arguing that mercury in vaccines causes autism, which ran in the June 2005 Rolling Stone and on-line at Salon.com. So did last year’s vaccines-linked-to- autism bestseller, Evidence of Harm by David Kirby (St. Martin’s Press). But there’s a potential public-health cost to all the controversy, according to the B.C. Centre for Disease Control.

“Vaccines have been a victim of their own success,” spokesperson Ian Roe told the Straight in a telephone interview from Ottawa. Diseases such as polio, which killed his father-in-law, are almost eradicated and therefore no longer serve as a warning to parents. But the epidemic threat is still real. “If everyone decided to not get vaccinated, we’d live in a very different world.”

Canada’s last national immunization conference, in December 2004, heard a report that vaccine coverage is sometimes low. For diphtheria, the Public Health Agency of Canada found that just 75 percent of two-year-olds are immunized; the target is 99 percent. For tetanus, just 66 percent of 17-year-olds are immunized, compared to a target of 97 percent.

Dr. Ronald Gold, the former head of the infectious-disease division at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children, told the conference that “we will never be without an anti-vaccine movement,” but “in reality, there is no scientific evidence for these myths.”

Shaw acknowledges that there’s a lot of pressure on parents to vaccinate their children. “You’re considered to be a really bad parent if you don’t vaccinate,” he said—and your child can’t attend public school. “But I don’t think the safety of vaccines is demarcated. How does a parent make a decision based on what’s available? You can’t make an intelligent decision.”

Conservatively, he said, if one percent of vaccinated humans develop ALS from vaccine adjuvants, it would still constitute a health emergency.

It’s possible, he said, that there are 10,000 studies that show aluminum hydroxide is safe for injections. But he hasn’t been able to find any that look beyond the first few weeks of injection. If anyone has a study that shows something different, he said, please “put it on the table. That’s how you do science.”

Neuroscience research is difficult, Shaw said, because symptoms can take years to manifest, so it’s hard to prove what caused the symptoms.

“To me, that calls for better testing, not blind faith.”

He pointed out that George W. Bush passed legislation that opens the door for the USA to order a nationwide anthrax immunization campaign, with the threat of bioterrorism.

Shaw’s paper is currently undergoing a peer review.

That's an assessment of the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine program for children in the UK - a program very much like our own in the U.S. And that quote doesn't come from a radical on the fringe of mainstream medicine. It comes from someone who was once at the very center: Peter Fletcher, M.D., former Chief Scientific Officer for Britain's Department of Health.

In several e-Alerts I've written about the evidence that links childhood vaccines (specifically, the mercury-based vaccine preservative thimerosal) to the alarming rise of autism over the past 15 years. But now Dr. Fletcher has come forward with a new take on this controversy: It appears that autism is just part of a larger, more serious problem. And he believes the true culprit is the MMR vaccine.

Inexplicable complacency

In an article that appeared earlier this month in the UK newspaper The Mail on Sunday, Dr. Fletcher blasted government officials for their "utterly inexplicable complacency" regarding the MMR vaccine.

In recent years, Dr. Fletcher has participated in many MMR-related trials as an expert witness. After a 40-year career in medicine and science, he's more than qualified to analyze the case-related documents and what he calls the "steady accumulation of evidence" submitted by researchers from around the world.

He's now convinced that the live measles virus in MMR can cause "brain, gut and immune system damage in a subset of vulnerable children."

He points out that over the past 15 years we've witnessed a "tenfold increase in autism and related forms of brain damage." This increase roughly coincides with the introduction of MMR vaccines as well as an increase of immune disorders such as diabetes and inflammatory bowel diseases among children.

Dr. Fletcher is clearly very frustrated that government officials continue to promote the MMR program. But he's been an insider himself and he knows what's really going on: "There are very powerful people in positions of great authority in Britain and elsewhere who have staked their reputations and careers on the safety of MMR," he told The Mail on Sunday, "and they are willing to do almost anything to protect themselves."

Two-pronged attack

The Mail article notes that Dr. Fletcher's comments come on the heels of a government announcement that additional childhood vaccines will soon be required.

This ever-growing list of required vaccines is a problem for both the UK and the U.S. In a controversial article that appeared in Rolling Stone magazine last year, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., wrote that in 1989, American preschoolers were required to receive 11 vaccinations. Ten years later that number had jumped to 22 required vaccines.

Many children have no adverse reactions to these shots. But as Dr. Fletcher points out, the immune systems of some children simply can't cope with the three live viruses in the MMR, along with the "ever-increasing vaccine load in general."

According to William Campbell Douglass II, M.D., it's this combination that may be the root of the problem.

More than three years ago, Dr. Douglass warned of the danger of multiple vaccines coupled with MMR. In his Daily Dose e-letter he wrote: "The mercury in thimerosal mounts a two-pronged attack: it impairs brain development and, at the same time, damages the child's immune system and gastrointestinal tract. While MMR contains no thimerosal, other vaccines given prior to it do. So these vaccines cause the initial damage to the immune system. Then, because the damaged immune system cannot cope with three live viruses at once, the triple vaccine triggers autism."

Slamming the door

Dr. Fletcher believes that some children may be more susceptible to MMR dangers than others. He told The Mail on Sunday that the risks of brain and bowel damage from MMR appear to be much higher in children with siblings who are diabetic or have immune disorders.
But what angers him most is the British government's response. Instead of devoting funds to MMR research, the government has spent millions on advertising campaigns to promote public confidence in the MMR vaccine.

And while the propaganda budgets get more and more bloated, a government program to supply legal aid to parents who believe their kids were damaged by vaccines was discontinued in 2003. As a result, many parents will not have their day in court. And to add insult to injury (literally), Dr. Fletcher notes that with far fewer cases being heard, "much of this revealing evidence may never come out."

Hepatitis C is caused by a virus, which is picked up through contact with contaminated blood or organs. When I asked HSI Panelist Allan Spreen, M.D., what his recommendation would be for fighting this virus, he started off with information about a trusted old standby: vitamin C.

Children that aren't vaccinated never get autism!

CHICAGO, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- It's a far piece from the horse-and-buggies of Lancaster County, Pa., to the cars and freeways of Cook County, Ill.

But thousands of children cared for by Homefirst Health Services in metropolitan Chicago have at least two things in common with thousands of Amish children in rural Lancaster: They have never been vaccinated. And they don't have autism.

"We have a fairly large practice. We have about 30,000 or 35,000 children that we've taken care of over the years, and I don't think we have a single case of autism in children delivered by us who never received vaccines," said Dr. Mayer Eisenstein, Homefirst's medical director who founded the practice in 1973. Homefirst doctors have delivered more than 15,000 babies at home, and thousands of them have never been vaccinated.

The few autistic children Homefirst sees were vaccinated before their families became patients, Eisenstein said. "I can think of two or three autistic children who we've delivered their mother's next baby, and we aren't really totally taking care of that child -- they have special care needs. But they bring the younger children to us. I don't have a single case that I can think of that wasn't vaccinated."

The autism rate in Illinois public schools is 38 per 10,000, according to state Education Department data; the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention puts the national rate of autism spectrum disorders at 1 in 166 -- 60 per 10,000.

"We do have enough of a sample," Eisenstein said. "The numbers are too large to not see it. We would absolutely know. We're all family doctors. If I have a child with autism come in, there's no communication. It's frightening. You can't touch them. It's not something that anyone would miss."

No one knows what causes autism, but federal health authorities say it isn't childhood immunizations. Some parents and a small minority of doctors and scientists, however, assert vaccines are responsible.

This column has been looking for autism in never-vaccinated U.S. children in an effort to shed light on the issue. We went to Chicago to meet with Eisenstein at the suggestion of a reader, and we also visited Homefirst's office in northwest suburban Rolling Meadows. Homefirst has four other offices in the Chicago area and a total of six doctors.

Eisenstein stresses his observations are not scientific. "The trouble is this is just anecdotal in a sense, because what if every autistic child goes somewhere else and (their family) never calls us or they moved out of state?"

In practice, that's unlikely to account for the pronounced absence of autism, says Eisenstein, who also has a bachelor's degree in statistics, a master's degree in public health and a law degree.

Homefirst follows state immunization mandates, but Illinois allows religious exemptions if parents object based either on tenets of their faith or specific personal religious views. Homefirst does not exclude or discourage such families. Eisenstein, in fact, is author of the book "Don't Vaccinate Before You Educate!" and is critical of the CDC's vaccination policy in the 1990s, when several new immunizations were added to the schedule, including Hepatitis B as early as the day of birth. Several of the vaccines -- HepB included -- contained a mercury-based preservative that has since been phased out of most childhood vaccines in the United States.

Medical practices with Homefirst's approach to immunizations are rare. "Because of that, we tend to attract families that have questions about that issue," said Dr. Paul Schattauer, who has been with Homefirst for 20 years and treats "at least" 100 children a week.

Schattauer seconded Eisenstein's observations. "All I know is in my practice I don't see autism. There is no striking 1-in-166," he said.

Earlier this year we reported the same phenomenon in the mostly unvaccinated Amish. CDC Director Dr. Julie Gerberding told us the Amish "have genetic connectivity that would make them different from populations that are in other sectors of the United States." Gerberding said, however, studies "could and should be done" in more representative unvaccinated groups -- if they could be found and their autism rate documented.

Chicago is America's prototypical "City of Big Shoulders," to quote Carl Sandburg, and Homefirst's mostly middle-class families seem fairly representative. A substantial number are conservative Christians who home-school their children. They are mostly white, but the Homefirst practice also includes black and Hispanic families and non-home-schooling Jews, Catholics and Muslims.

They tend to be better educated, follow healthier diets and breast-feed their children much longer than the norm -- half of Homefirst's mothers are still breast-feeding at two years. Also, because Homefirst relies less on prescription drugs including antibiotics as a first line of treatment, these children have less exposure to other medicines, not just vaccines.

Schattauer, interviewed at the Rolling Meadows office, said his caseload is too limited to draw conclusions about a possible link between vaccines and autism. "With these numbers you'd have a hard time proving or disproving anything," he said. "You can only get a feeling about it.

"In no way would I be an advocate to stand up and say we need to look at vaccines, because I don't have the science to say that," Schattauer said. "But I don't think the science is there to say that it's not."

Schattauer said Homefirst's patients also have significantly less childhood asthma and juvenile diabetes compared to national rates. An office manager who has been with Homefirst for 17 years said she is aware of only one case of severe asthma in an unvaccinated child.

"Sometimes you feel frustrated because you feel like you've got a pretty big secret," Schattauer said. He argues for more research on all those disorders, independent of political or business pressures.

The asthma rate among Homefirst patients is so low it was noticed by the Blue Cross group with which Homefirst is affiliated, according to Eisenstein.

"In the alternative-medicine network which Homefirst is part of, there are virtually no cases of childhood asthma, in contrast to the overall Blue Cross rate of childhood asthma which is approximately 10 percent," he said. "At first I thought it was because they (Homefirst's children) were breast-fed, but even among the breast-fed we've had asthma. We have virtually no asthma if you're breast-fed and not vaccinated."

Because the diagnosis of asthma is based on emergency-room visits and hospital admissions, Eisenstein said, Homefirst's low rate is hard to dispute. "It's quantifiable -- the definition is not reliant on the doctor's perception of asthma."

Several studies have found a risk of asthma from vaccination; others have not. Studies that include never-vaccinated children generally find little or no asthma in that group.

Earlier this year Florida pediatrician Dr. Jeff Bradstreet said there is virtually no autism in home-schooling families who decline to vaccinate for religious reasons -- lending credence to Eisenstein's observations.

"It's largely non-existent," said Bradstreet, who treats children with autism from around the country. "It's an extremely rare event."

Bradstreet has a son whose autism he attributes to a vaccine reaction at 15 months. His daughter has been home-schooled, he describes himself as a "Christian family physician," and he knows many of the leaders in the home-school movement.

"There was this whole subculture of folks who went into home-schooling so they would never have to vaccinate their kids," he said. "There's this whole cadre who were never vaccinated for religious reasons."

In that subset, he said, "unless they were massively exposed to mercury through lots of amalgams (mercury dental fillings in the mother) and/or big-time fish eating, I've not had a single case."

Federal health authorities and mainstream medical groups emphatically dismiss any link between autism and vaccines, including the mercury-based preservative thimerosal. Last year a panel of the Institute of Medicine, part of the National Academies, said there is no evidence of such a link, and funding should henceforth go to "promising" research.

Thimerosal, which is 49.6 percent ethyl mercury by weight, was phased out of most U.S. childhood immunizations beginning in 1999, but the CDC recommends flu shots for pregnant women and last year began recommending them for children 6 to 23 months old. Most of those shots contain thimerosal.

Thimerosal-preserved vaccines are currently being injected into millions of children in developing countries around the world. "My mandate ... is to make sure at the end of the day that 100,000,000 are immunized ... this year, next year and for many years to come ... and that will have to be with thimerosal-containing vaccines," said John Clements of the World Health Organization at a June 2000 meeting called by the CDC.

That meeting was held to review data that thimerosal might be linked with autism and other neurological problems. But in 2004 the Institute of Medicine panel said evidence against a link is so strong that health authorities, "whether in the United States or other countries, should not include autism as a potential risk" when formulating immunization policies.

But where is the simple, straightforward study of autism in never-vaccinated U.S. children? Based on our admittedly anecdotal and limited reporting among the Amish, the home-schooled and now Chicago's Homefirst, that may prove to be a significant omission.

There are already ten different bills on Capitol Hill -- S3, S975, S1437, S1828, S1873, S1880, HR650, HR3154, HR3970, HR4245 -- that contain provisions which will let drug companies off the hook for injuries resulting from vaccines and other products.”[iii][iii]

That means when they kill children with their vaccines, which they have been doing for decades, they will legally be able to get away with murder. Death by injection is not something that only happens to those on death row, it happens all the time to kids and the government keeps records, though incomplete, that tell the dirty tale. Some have acknowledged that the Eli Lilly Company is a company that kills babies for they are the ones who have been pumping in the most lethal neurological poison (mercury based thimerosal) into vaccines for over 70 years.

The legislation in progress at this time set the stage for mass forced vaccines. At issue is compulsory vaccination during time of terrorist attack with weapons of biological warfare or if national security is threatened by the bird flu virus. In reality there are people pushing for compulsory vaccination all the time, which it seems we already have for children right now anyway. It is presently very difficult and getting more difficult to get exemptions from vaccination in school age children. In addition, there are currently attempts to make flu vaccination mandatory for all primary health care workers. The CDC continually pushes the issue, and this week there is added backing from a politically influential organization called APIC: the Association of Practitioners for Infection Control, calling for mandatory influenza vaccination of all health care workers.[iv][iv]

For noncompliance some of the bills order imprisonment and/or quarantine without probable cause or scientific evidence of illness or contamination. There are people and government officials who want to plunge a chemical cocktail into everybody and if it kills kids and old people, well? What this means is that pharmaceutical companies, with the federal government running interference, will unleash new vaccines, specifically the one for the bird flu they are testing, and just too bad if people die from it. Legal and medically justified deaths are waiting for many American children.

The United States, the center of the western world is going down a path that will lead to a living hell on earth. Most people are asleep to the terrors already supported in earnest by the United States government and tend to look the other way like the Germans did when they started herding the Jews and Gypsies to the concentration camps. As long as it doesn’t happen to us what is to worry about?

Nicknamed BioShield Two, after a related measure passed and signed into law last year [PL 108-296], S 1873 is a “drug company stockholder’s dream and a consumer’s worst nightmare,” says Barbara Loe Fisher, president of NVIC, in a hard-hitting press release.[v][v] “The legislation will eliminate both regulatory and legal safeguards applied to vaccines, as well as take away the right of children and adults harmed by vaccines and drugs to present their case in front of a jury in a civil court of law.”

The federal government actually pays families of vaccine-killed or
disabled children nearly $100 million dollars each year, and has done
so since 1986 through the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program.

Vaccines are a wonderful source of profits with no risks to the drug companies since vaccine injuries are now recompensed by the government. But now the government seems to want to come out from under the threat of increased liability altogether. Journalism professor John Hanchette, rips S 1873 in the Niagara Falls Reporter saying, “This bill is a slavering wolverine masquerading as a furry little lab rat.” This slavering wolverine is running on a fast track, its progress on the Hill fueled by media-generated hysteria about bird flu.[vi][vi]

The very same people who are at war with the societies in Iraq and Afghanistan are at war with their very own citizens and will not relax their efforts until they have total control of people’s lives and bodies. These bills create a secret, powerful, unchallengeable, and constitution-immune agency, Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Agency (BARDA)[vii][vii], with life-and death power over US citizens. “These bills represent the exact opposite of sane, sensible and appropriate democratic governance. They represent the reign of high profit and high terror under a profoundly undemocratic regime,” continued Dr. Gordon, who says in the clear, “Compulsory vaccination is an abomination.”

enough persons said no to immunizations there would be a
striking improvement in general health with nature back

According to Dr. Oliver Sacks and Dr. Joel Vilensky,[ix][ix] the influenza pandemic of 1918 was followed by another epidemic. The disease was encephalitis lethargica, or the "sleepy sickness," and like influenza it spread through most of the world. Its symptoms were extraordinarily varied - most commonly there was lethargy, but sometimes there was insomnia, and even frenzy; sometimes there were paralyses, sometimes mental disorders. Of the million or so people who came down with encephalitis lethargica during this period, half a million died in the acute stages of the illness; most of the survivors, people who appeared to have recovered, went on to develop, sometimes decades later, a variety of neurological problems, including a crippling form of parkinsonism. That this was caused by the unsafe vaccines was never investigated. The last thing the American government wants is to be held responsible for is the widespread slaughter of its citizens and the terrible suffering and liability medically induced chronic disease brings. That vaccines are capable of doing this is only a surprise to those who know nothing about the history of vaccines and the statistics held by the American government.

Compulsory vaccination takes us right back to IG Farben and the Nazi concentration doctors who enjoyed experimenting on their fellow human beings. The chances are good that men like Republican Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-TN), and Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee Chairman Mike Enzi (R-WY), and Senate Budget Committee Chairman Judd Gregg (R-NH), all sponsors of these bills, will lead human civilization into a medical dark ages that even the Nazi madmen did not achieve.

BARDA will operate in secret, exempt from the Freedom of
Information Act and the Federal Advisory Committee Act,
insuring that no evidence of injuries or deaths caused by drugs
and vaccines labeled as "countermeasures" will become public.

"I am not aware of any agency that has the full FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) exemption, even the CIA," said Mark Tapscott, the director of the Center for Media and Public Policy at the Heritage Foundation. "What do they think they will be doing that will not be covered by the exemptions that the CIA has in place?" he said. "There needs to be a detailed explanation for why." Drug companies say they need to be free of public scrutiny to protect their research. Dr. James Howenstine feels otherwise saying, “There is no proof that vaccines work and they are never studied for safety before release. My opinion is that there is overwhelming evidence that vaccines are dangerous and the only reason for their existence is to increase profits of pharmaceutical firms.”

No large scale trial of the US anthrax vaccine (AVA) has ever
been conducted, and trials of the current smallpox vaccine have
recently been halted because of safety concerns. Despite this,
the website of the United States anthrax vaccine immunization
program claims proved protection against inhalation anthrax.[x][x]

The loss of medical freedom is on the navigational charts of the pharmaceutical industry. In the medical world and in governmental bodies like the FDA and the CDC there are many who would herd humanity before dangerous needles and dangerous lethal medicines and these men and woman could easily be called demons from hell. There are no civilized or words to really describe the absolute terror of a mother or father losing their child soon after vaccines are administered, nor the living nightmare of watching your child slide into the darkness of autism spectrum disorders. The German monsters concentrated on State enemies but their American medical counterparts are going after the children of the American people. Professional evil is not something that psychologists have come to terms with but hundreds of thousands of parents of autistic spectrum kids have.

The Power of Parents Call-in Campaign hopes to stop pharma-friendly legislation in its tracks. For years, politicians like Senator Bill Frist and Judd Gregg have routinely inserted language that removes liability from vaccine-makers, which ultimately eases safety guidelines and dismisses injuries some children suffer from vaccines. In 2002, an anonymous party inserted the now-famous secret rider to the Homeland Security bill, a provision that gave Eli Lilly and vaccine manufacturers liability protection from a toxin used in vaccines. The rider was later repealed.

Pass or no pass though there is a reality, an evil, a demonic force that is exercising its power in the field of medicine. These forces are not concerned if hundreds of thousands die from their efforts. They feel absolutely justified medically for all their actions. This is medical arrogance ignorant of its own evil. These people suffer no guilt when parents lose kids or when they get struck down and become neurological zombies. Evil has a new face today; it is the face of modern allopathic medicine married to terror creating pharmaceutical paradigms.

The German people were helpless before the Nazis as were the Russians before Stalin. Americans have their Bill Frist, George Bush and now infamous Secretary of Defense Donald Rumfield leading a pack of medical terrorists the world knows and suffers from. These bills, if they become law, will threaten to turn the entire United States of America into a medical concentration camp. Presently the Autism community are the only ones who seem to give a damn and are on top of watching this all while the rest of us stick our heads in the sand and sit in front of TV not having the least little bit of understanding what all this means. Democracy, which has been dying a horrible death in the United States since the trade towers came down, is ready for burial if these bills are past. The CDC claims that its Research Guide "will provide a comprehensive, long-range vision of national and global public health needs that CDC and its partners can address through research. The Research Guide will help identify critical knowledge needed to achieve CDC's new health protection goals which are designed to maximize the health impact of programs, services, and emergency responses". In the media advisory asking for public comment it is claimed that "the wide-ranging Research Guide addresses topics of critical interest to the American public including finding new ways to combat infectious diseases such as pandemic influenza, and chronic diseases such as cancer and diabetes." It will be self evident from the documentation herein that the CDC and its partners are actually facilitating the creation of diseases and genocide; not the protection of public health, as this guide purports.

The intentional creation of diseases is being done by 2 primary mechanisms:

1. Genetic engineering of organisms (especially viruses which cause cancer under the
"Special Virus Cancer Project", as detailed below), as well as
2. Inoculation of organisms via the practice touted as "vaccination".

The definition of these words makes the truth self evident. As defined in Dorland's Medical Dictionary, 25th edition:
p. 1685 - "vaccinate" = to inject vaccine for the purpose of inducing immunity
p. 784 - "inoculate" = to communicate a disease by inserting its etiologic agent

As stated in Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine , 6th edition, p. 943: "RARELY IS PREVENTION OF INFECTION PER SE CONSIDERED TO BE AN IMPORTANT GOAL OF VACCINATION. In fact, asymptomatic infection after vaccination can serve to enhance and prolong the immune response." Of course, if the immune response has been overwhelmed or corrupted, the "asymptomatic infection" will become a CHRONIC DISEASE. In fact, on the same page of Harrison's, in the following paragraph, it states the following:
"PERSISTENCE AND LATENCY. Many viruses persist in host tissues for months or years without causing overt disease. A FLARE-UP OF THESE LATENT INFECTIONS MAY BE INDUCED BY TRAUMA, INTERCURRENT DISEASE, DECLINE IN ANTIBODY TITERS, OR UNKNOWN STIMULI. Experiments with tissue cultures and laboratory animals reveal that persistence of virus in tissue results from an interplay of various factors peculiar to each virus and its host. LATENCY IS PROMOTED BY THE PRESENCE OF ANTIBODY OR OTHER VIRAL INHIBITORS THAT PREVENT EXTENSIVE CELL-TO-CELL SPREAD OF VIRUS. IF ANTIBODY IS WITHDRAWN, VIRAL MULTIPLICATION OFTEN RESUMES, WITH CONCOMITANT CELLULAR NECROSIS."

In the same (6th) Edition of Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine , it is stated on page 975 in regards to the poliomyelitis vaccine: "Vaccine virus multiplies in the intestinal tract and remains at this site. LIVE VACCINE VIRUS SPREADS AND INFECTS CONTACTS OF VACCINATED INDIVIDUALS. This type of immunization in the presence of epidemic poliomyelitis may lead to REPLACEMENT OF THE "WILD" PARALYTOGENIC STRAIN BY THE ONE IN THE VACCINE....." In direct contradiction to this statement, the 1/1/2000 Vaccine Information statement put out by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention National Immunization Program, states that the "OPV (Oral Polio Vaccine) is better at keeping the disease from spreading to other
people. However, it does state in this document that "OPV actually causes polio".

The inoculation of organisms causes disease both by direct introduction of organisms (including viruses that cause cancer) into the bloodstream, as well as corruption of the immune system leading to autoimmune disease (as can be read about on the CDC's own website, OCSO - OPHR - CDC's Research Agenda - Starter List Comments , where Dr. Carley's paper "Inoculation the True Weapons of Mass Destruction causing an Epidemic of Genocide" is posted, and describes the mechanism whereby corruption of the immune system occurs). In this paper (which Dr. William Atkinson of the CDC's immunization program has refused to respond to), it states that the hyperactivity of the humeral arm of the immune system in autoimmune disease is caused by adjuvants added just for that purpose. However, the damage caused by the autoimmunity (i.e., antibody against self) has several mechanisms, including the following:
1. The antigens present in the culture media itself cannot be completely filtered and separated from the organisms cultured thereon. Thus, any antibodies formed against antigens from the culture cells themselves (for example myelin basic protein from chick embryos or the 13 vaccines which now contain aborted human fetal cells) can cross-react to form an autoimmune reaction against the myelin basic protein in your myelin sheath, etc. causing DEMYELINATION.

2. Molecular mimicry is due to similarity of proteins contained in organisms and mammals. (For example, the measles virus is made up of proteins similar to myelin basic protein; thus, antibodies formed against the measles virus antigens subsequently also cause an auto-antibody attack against myelin basic protein in the myelin sheath due to cross reactivity of these antibodies) causing DEMYELINATION (leading to Autism, as proven below).

In the aforementioned 6th edition of Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine on p. 1791, under the heading "Multiple Sclerosis and other DEMYELINATING Diseases", it states the following: "A large and important group of neurologic disorders are termed the demyelinating diseases because they share the common pathologic feature of foci of degeneration, involving the myelin sheath of nerves. These foci vary in size, shape, distribution, and rate of development in the different illnesses. The axis cylinder often suffers damage, as does the myelin sheath, but the destruction of myelin is considered the primary change...syndromes can be clearly distinguished....(including) acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (including post infectious and POSTVACCINAL ENCEPHALOMYELITIS)...(P. 1798) - "the association of the neurologic disorder with vaccination or inoculation usually leaves the diagnosis in little doubt, and the characteristic combination of encephalitic and myelitic features will help to distinguish the condition from meningitis, viral encephalitis, and poliomyelitis". This self evident fact has been taken out of subsequent editions of Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine , since as the vaccine schedule has dramatically increased over the years, the incidence of vaccine induced demyelination has correspondingly increased. This is most evident in the case of autism, which has now risen to epidemic proportions in this country. Yet, whereas there is almost no history of the disease in the families of these children in most cases, and the parents report the onset of symptoms after the child receives the MMR vaccine, the various arms of the medical establishment (including the CDC) conclude that this is just a "coincidence"; rather than that the association of the neurologic disorder (autism) with vaccination or inoculation usually leaves the diagnosis in little doubt. The way that the true etiology of autism is hidden from doctors is by changing the name of the vaccine induced disease. For example, SUB ACUTE SCLEROSING PAN ENCEPHALITIS (SSPE) has been changed to AUTISM, as is demonstrated in the 10th edition of Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine where, on page 2096, the following information about SSPE is included:

"...The disease affects boys 3 to 10 times as frequently as girls...Characteristically, they are entirely well until the disease begins. The onset of usually insidious mental deterioration, often expressed by a decline in the patient's schoolwork, is the presenting symptom . Incoordination, ataxia, and myoclonic jerks develop within a few months along with abnormalities of the pyramidal and extrapyramidal motor systems....Elevated levels of measles antibody are found in the serum and CSF....Measles virus is the etiologic agent....Staining of brain tissue from patients with the disease demonstrates measles virus antigen in the inclusions....A few reported cases have been related to measles vaccination." Of course, the vaccine etiology has been deleted from the 16th edition of Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine , although the age of onset has been changed to 2 years in that edition.

What becomes SELF EVIDENT from these various editions of Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine (the "Bible" by which all medical students learn about internal medicine) is that the source of almost all of the viruses that cause demyelinating diseases is actually VACCINES; and that the names of the diseases are changed to hide the true etiology. Another example of this can be found on page 2104 of the 10th edition of Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine, under the discussion of ACUTE NECROTIZING HEMORRHAGIC ENCEPHALOMYELITIS, which is described as a "tissue destructive disease of the central nervous system which occurs with explosive suddenness within a few days of an upper respiratory infection. The pathologic findings are distinctive. On sectioning the brain, much of the white matter of one or both hemispheres is seen to be destroyed almost to the point of liquefaction. The involved tissue is pink or yellowish-gray and flecked with multiple small hemorrhages. Sometimes similar changes are localized to the brainstem or spinal cord. As in acute disseminated encephalomyelitis in showing perivenular foci of demyelination, all of like age.....The cerebrospinal fluid examination discloses a more intense reaction than in other demyelinating diseases....The etiology of this disease is not established; however, the entire clinical-pathologic entity bears a close resemblance to a hyper acute form of EAE which can be induced in animals by administration of endotoxin, PERTUSSIS VACCINE, or its histamine sensitizing factor coincident with or shortly after injection of myelin in adjuvant. What is self evident from this description is that this disease is actually SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) or many of the cases of Shaken Baby Syndrome (the differentiation being whether the child has any evidence of trauma that the prosecutor can use to make a case for shaken baby and subsequently charge a parent with murder, as happened in the well-known case of Alan Yurko in Florida). Thus, once again, the name of the disease has been changed to conceal the fact that the pertussis vaccine is the cause of SIDS and many cases of Shaken Baby Syndrome.

In fact, after reviewing these 3 editions (6th, 10th, and 16th) of Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine I conclude that most of the viral and demyelinating diseases of the central nervous system are, in fact, VIDS (Vaccine Induced Disease Syndromes). A very revealing statement making this truth self evident can be found in the Scope publications published by the Upjohn company and given to medical students; in particular, the 1983 edition of "Virology" which, on page 46 states the following under "Viral Pathogenesis": "Of a variety of possible portals of entry, the most common are inhalation, ingestion, direct contact with infected material, and direct injection by insect vectors". I invite any CDC official, immunologist, pediatrician or vaccination promoter to explain to the public how the amount of virus injected by the stinger of a mosquito is more dangerous to the public than the amount of virus contained in the hypodermic needle of a white coat. Additionally in this same edition of "Virology, on p. 47, the following is stated: "If a young pig infected intranasally with pseudo-rabies virus is added to a colony of uninfected animals, 80% to 90% of the pigs will become infected....Generally, injecting virus into a host produces infection more efficiently and with less virus than exposing the host to an infected animal." Once again, I invite any CDC official, immunologist, pediatrician or vaccination promoter to explain to the public how the same principle does not apply in the case of viruses that are put in a bottle and named "vaccines" to be injected, or inhaled (as in the case of "Flumist").

In a document published by the CDC on May 4, 2000 (# 99-6194) entitled “Vaccine Information Statements; What You Need to Know”, on page 9 the following is printed under the heading “The Law (Recording Patient Information and Reporting Adverse Events): 42 U.S.C. § 300aa-25. Recording and Reporting of Information, (b) Reporting (2) “A report under paragraph (1) respecting a vaccine shall include the time periods after the administration of such vaccine within which vaccine-related illnesses, disabilities, injuries, or conditions the symptoms and manifestations of such illnesses, disabilities, injuries, or conditions, or DEATHS occur, and the manufacturer and lot number of the vaccine.” Thus, the CDC is promoting the development of even more vaccines, knowing full well the damage they are causing. In fact, the evidence shows that the CDC is involved in creation of viruses that cause cancer. As reported in Progress Report # 9 of the "Special Virus Cancer Program" (SVCP) run by the National Institutes of Health, the CDC, under grant VCL-42 (page 172 of progress report #9), the CDC investigator procured a total of 35 cell lines from leukemia and lymphoma cases (including 2 cases where the cancers were sexually transmitted to the spouse), and supplied these to several other investigators with the purpose of identifying a human tumor virus. This 396 page report identifies investigators in every major university, multiple pharmaceutical companies, veterinary colleges, zoos, and multiple federal agencies doing research to produce cancer causing viruses, testing factors to activate tumor formation in normal cells (including the use of latent viruses and activation of oncogenes), studying cancer formation after inoculation and intranasal transmission of cancer causing viruses, etc. This program also involved Merck and Dr. Maurice Hilleman, (touted as THE vaccinologist of the 20th century in his obituary in April 2005) whose project purported to investigate the development of vaccines to prevent cancers of viral etiology. However, in 1962 Dr. Hilleman joked that the Russians would be no threat in the 1962 Olympics as they would be dragging with tumors caused by the SV 40 virus present in polio vaccines (note that the SV40 virus is a DNA plasmid of rhesus monkey origin being studied in many of the projects of the SVCP). The fact that, according to the Physician's Desk Reference, NO vaccine has ever been tested for its cancer causing potential is troubling enough. However, when US Code, Title 50, Chapter 32, Section 1520 & 1524 are considered (which state the Department of Defense can experiment on any American without their consent with biological warfare agents, including by use of vaccines (in violation of the Nuremberg code), in combination with transcripts of July 1, 1969 hearings before a subcommittee of the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives (p. 129), the genocidal intention of these traitors to America becomes self evident. In these hearings (which evolved from directives issued by National Security Advisor Henry Kissinger just prior to issuing his most extensive depopulation report - National Security Memorandum 200), Dr. MacArthur states: "Within the next 5 to 10 years, it would probably be possible to make a new infective microorganism which could differ in certain important aspects from any known disease-causing organisms. Most important of these is that it might be refractory to the immunological and therapeutic processes upon which we depend to maintain our relative freedom from infectious disease". These biological agents created were obviously HIV/Aids, and the evidence points to this agent being spread via the use of inoculations.

Additionally, as reported in "Lab 257: The Disturbing Story of the Government's Secret Plum Island Germ Laboratory", on p. 219-221, author Michael Christopher Carroll states the following: Dr. David Huxsoll, who served on three U.N. biological warfare inspection teams in Iraq, and who was appointed as Plum Island's director in June of 2000, stated: "The plant that would produce biological agents for weapons purposes may not look too much different from the plant that produces biological agents for vaccine purposes....in the case of biological agents, you can disseminate them in an aerosol, and if you are good at this, you can spread them over a huge distance". This book discusses Plum Island as the likely origin of Lymes Disease, which the CDC has identified as a potential bioterrorism agent. THIS IS BUT ONE EXAMPLE OF THE BIOTERRORISM UPON THE AMERICAN PEOPLE BY AGENCIES AND CONTRACTORS OF THE US GOVERNMENT.

CONCLUSION: THE EMERGING VIRUSES AND OTHER BIOWARFARE AGENTS ARE EMERGING FROM GOVERNMENT FUNDED LABORATORIES; THE INTENTIONAL EXPOSURE OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE TO THESE AGENTS VIA AEROSOLS (Chemtrails) AND INOCULATIONS CONSTITUTES GENOCIDE AGAINST THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, AND TREASON BY ALL PUBLIC OFFICIALS WHO ARE AIDING AND ABETTING THIS CONSPIRACY. [NOTE: Conspiracy is NOT a "theory"... IT IS A CRIME! -- CCW]

Stop Worrying About the Flu

Like diehard fans camping out overnight to be the first in line for concert tickets to their favorite performer, people are waiting in long lines hoping to get the flu vaccine. Yes, it's that time of year -- flu season and the media and the government have stirred the public into complete panic mode. Headlines flood newspapers reading, "Vaccine shortage leads public crisis" and on the hour radio broadcasts are bombarding the public with reports that the flu epidemic is coming and there aren't enough vaccines to fight it.

Before You Run Out to Get the Flu Shot ... Do Your Homework

It's becoming increasingly difficult to separate facts from the hype created by the media and government officials. In order to make an informed decision of whether or not to get the flu shot, it is of utmost importance to do your homework. This involves doing thorough research of the safety issues surrounding the flu vaccination and then learning the preventative measures against getting the flu in the first place.

The Target Markets for the Flu Vaccine: Elderly and Children

Generally, the flu vaccine is recommended for people ages 65 and older and to those with serious medical conditions that could quickly worsen as a result of serious complications from the flu. Reports from medical journals widely vary in the effectiveness for the elderly, ranging from 0 to 85 percent.

The CDC reports that 90 percent of deaths from influenza occur among the elderly. These kinds of statistics make it nearly impossible to credit the flu vaccine for prolonging lives in this age group, as 65 percent of all deaths (regardless of the cause) happen among the elderly.

Further, there are potential dangers to the flu vaccine, particularly to the already vulnerable elderly population. Dr. Hugh Fudenberg, one of the world's leading immunogeneticists, states the chances of getting Alzheimer's disease is 10 times higher if an individual has five consecutive shots than if they have one, two or no shots. This is likely due to the thimerosol (a mercury-derived preservative) and aluminum content of the vaccine.

Recommendations to give flu vaccinations to children were adopted on March 1, 2003. These recommendations include vaccinating children between 2 and 18 years who live in households containing children younger than 2 years of age. The most common type of flu vaccine given to children is called Fluzone, with each dose containing 25 ug of mercury. CDC recommendations include administering the flu vaccine to children beginning at six months of age and then on an annual basis, for the rest of their lives.

Does the Flu Vaccine Really Work?

The flu vaccine can actually weaken the immune system and make you more predisposed to the illness.

The flu vaccine, whether in the shot or nasal form, is worthless at best and should be avoided. Not only are they loaded with toxic chemicals including mercury and aluminum, but many people come down with the flu shortly after receiving the shot. This is because it actually weakens the immune system, making the person more predisposed to the illness.

The Dangers You Need to Know About FluMist

First, it is important to familiarize yourself with the side effects of FluMist, which include cough, runny nose/nasal congestion, irritability, headaches, chills, muscle aches and fever. Ironically, all of these symptoms bear striking similarities to the symptoms of the flu.

In addition, research has shown an increased risk of Bell palsy following intranasal flu vaccination, according to the Global Advisory Committee on Vaccine Safety (GACVS). The makers of the nasal flu vaccine in the study decided not to market it the following season due to the risk. According to GACVS, the greater risk of Bell palsy following immunization with this vaccine may have been due to specific vaccine components, or simply to use of the intranasal administration route. It is therefore possible that such complications of vaccine administration may also apply to other nasal vaccines.

The new live-virus vaccine (FLUMIST), which is squirted up the nose, was licensed by the FDA in June 2003 for use in healthy individuals between the ages of five and 50. It is not recommended for pregnant women or those with asthma, chronic lung or heart disease; chronic underlying medical conditions such as diabetes or kidney disorders; immune suppression or immune system problems; children or adolescents receiving aspirin therapy, anyone allergic to eggs; or those with a history of Guillain Barre syndrome. It should not be given simultaneously with other vaccines.

FLUMIST's vaccine live virus is shed after vaccination so the vaccinated are advised to avoid close contact with immune-compromised individuals for at least 21 days. Some hospital personnel are asking those recently vaccinated with FLUMIST to avoid visiting patients in hospitals to prevent the risk of transmitting the vaccine strain virus to sick patients.

News reports have been flooding us with articles warning that the impending flu season may be the worst in years. Even though it is difficult to separate the facts from the hype, a close evaluation of the flu vaccine will reveal that serious questions must be raised about the recommendations that are routinely touted, namely high efficacy with little risk. Anyone considering a flu shot should become informed about the substances coming through that needle, and should be determined to investigate the safety and efficacy issues that are still unresolved.

The vaccine virus
Each year, a new vaccine is developed that contains three different viruses (one influenza B and two influenza A strains). CDC officials select the new viruses based on which viruses were prevalent during the flu season in China and Australia the previous year. The CDC admits that the viruses selected for the new vaccine are chosen on the basis of an “educated guess.” [i]

What’s in a flu shot?
The influenza virus is grown in “specific pathogen-free” (SPF) eggs. Eggs are tested for a variety of agents—usually between 23 and 31—to confirm the absence of those specific pathogens. Laboratories limit the number of agents that are screened due to the shear abundance of potential viruses and/or bacteria to choose from. In addition, screening for every potential agent would be cost prohibitive.[ii] If none of the tested agents are detected, the vaccine is reported as “pathogen free.”

However, it should be understood that there is a distinct difference between “pathogen free” and “specific pathogen-free.” In its July 1996 report, the Institute of Medicine acknowledged that “although it is not possible to produce a completely uncontaminated animal, it is possible to produce an animal [or egg] certified to be free of specific pathogens.”[iii] Viruses that are harmless to their animal host, however, may be potentially harmful to humans.

During the manufacturing process, antibiotics (neomycin, polymyxin B and gentamicin) are added to eliminate stray bacteria found in the mixture. The final solution can contain the following additives in any combination: Triton X-100 (a detergent); polysorbate 80 (a potential carcinogen); gelatin; formaldehyde; and residual egg proteins. In addition, many of the influenza vaccines still contain thimerosal as a preservative. Thimerosal (mercury) is being investigated for its link to brain injury and autoimmune disease.

Does the flu shot protect?
There are no guarantees that the influenza viruses selected for the vaccine will be the identical strains circulating during a given flu season. In fact, it has recently been announced that this year's flu vaccine does not include the strain that is being reported by doctors in the community called the “A Fujian” strain. Outbreaks have been reported in Texas, Colorado and elsewhere[iv] that involve strains that do not match the current flu vaccine. CDC tests have confirmed that more than 80 per cent of the 55 strains of influenza virus isolated thus far are the A Fujian strain. Even so, the CDC still maintains that the current vaccine could provide cross-protection against the new variant, but the fact is, no one knows for sure.

Moreover, the majority of illnesses characterized by fever, fatigue, cough and aching muscles are not caused by the influenza virus. Non-influenza viruses (e.g., rhinoviruses respiratory syncytial virus [RSV], adenoviruses, and parainfluenza viruses) can cause symptoms referred to influenza-like illnesses (ILI). Certain bacteria, such as Legionella spp., Chlamydia pneumoniae, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, and Streptococcus pneumoniae, have been documented as the causes of ILI.[v]

Notably, these microbes are not part of the flu vaccine. Unless an organism’s antigen is contained within the vaccine, there is no protection conferred by the vaccine. It is estimated that most adults will average 1-3 episodes of ILI, and most children will average 3-6 episodes. The CDC also admits that “many persons who have been vaccinated against influenza can still get the flu”[vi]

A serious concern: Alzheimer’s Disesase
Hugh Fudenberg, MD, an immunogeneticist and biologist with nearly 850 papers published in peer review journals, has reported that if an individual had five consecutive flu shots between 1970 and 1980 (the years studied), his/her chances of getting Alzheimer's Disease is ten times higher than if they had zero, one, or two shots.[vii]

Dr. Boyd Haley, Professor and Chair of the Department of Chemistry at the University of Kentucky, Lexington has done extensive research in the area of mercury toxicity and the brain. Haley’s research has established a likely connection between mercury toxicity and Alzheimer’s disease. [viii] In a paper published in collaboration with researchers at University of Calgary, Haley stated that “seven of the characteristic markers that we look for to distinguish Alzheimer's disease can be produced in normal brain tissues, or cultures of neurons, by the addition of extremely low levels of mercury.”[ix]

Does this prove that the mercury contained in the influenza shot can be directly linked to Alzheimer’s? No, absolutely not. But further research in this area is critically needed because the absence of proof is not the “proof of absence.”[x]

Flu vaccine now for children
The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) adopted a resolution effective March 1, 2003 that expanded the use of the influenza vaccine to include children aged 6-23 months. The recommendations also included vaccinating those aged 2 to 18 years who live in households containing children younger than 2 years of age.[xi]

The flu vaccine most commonly given to children is Fluzone>, a trivalent vaccine grown in chicken eggs. Harvested with formaldehyde and containing the recommended ratio of 15 ug of each of the three prototype viral strains, each dose of Fluzone> also contains 25 ug of mercury.[xii] The new CDC recommendations include giving the influenza vaccine to children beginning at six months of age and then annually, for the rest of their lives. Children less than age 9 receiving their first flu shot, two doses of vaccine are recommended, with a minimum interval of one month between the two doses. However, the CDC does not provide a direct reference to substantiate this recommendation.[xiii]

On June 17, 2003, the FDA approved an intranasal influenza vaccine for use in healthy persons aged 5–49 years. Flumist> is a live-virus vaccine that can cause a litany of problems. (for further information on Dangers of FluMist)

Alternatives?
If you choose not to receive the flu shot, have a discussion with your doctor regarding other options. However, some simple and possibly quite effective things you can do for yourself to prevent the flu include: 1) avoid white sugar;[xiv] 2) exercise regularly; 3) get adequate sleep; 4) eat a healthy diet, omitting trans-fats; 5) drink plenty of purified water daily and 6) wash your hands. A common way people contract viral illnesses is by rubbing their nose or their eyes after their hands have been contaminated with a virus. The CDC states, “the most important thing you can do to keep from getting sick is to wash your hands.”[xv]

We are so used to taking medications—for prevention and treatment—that it is difficult to comprehend that these modest recommendations are really the most powerful ways to minimize the likelihood of getting the flu.

Making the decision
You may decide to consult a physician who is schooled in alternative medicine to assess a variety of options for you and your family. What is most important, in the end, is to become as informed as possible regarding your options for keeping healthy and avoiding the flu.
