It’s been confirmed that the first doses of Swine Flu vaccine will be nasal spray.

At least 3.4 million doses of vaccine against the pandemic H1N1 influenza virus will be available at the beginning of October, and about 20 million doses per week should become available soon after that, federal officials said Friday.

The first vaccine available will be MedImmune's FluMist intranasal vaccine, but injectable vaccines should be distributed a week or two later, Dr. Jay Butler, chief of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's 2009 H1N1 vaccine task force, said at a morning news conference. The intranasal vaccine has not been approved for children younger than 2, adults older than 49 or pregnant women, so it may go primarily to healthcare providers.

Note that the FDA has not approved the nasal spray vaccine for:

Children under 2;

Adults older than 49;

Pregnant women.

Why not?

What’s in the vaccine?

Dr. Sherri Tenpenny points out that putting a vaccine into the body through the nasal cavity brings the contents of the vaccine dangerously close to the brain.

Although this vaccine is supposed to contain inactivated H1N1 virus, there have been instances in which inactivation was botched in the manufacturing process of other vaccines. Therefore, the virus was able to cause infection and illness.

And here is another explosive issue---

The Times article mentions that health workers will likely be the first people to receive this nasal-spray vaccine.

Dr. Tenpenny states that the package-insert for past FluMist vaccines warns, “FluMist recipients should avoid close contact with immunocompromised individuals for at least 21 days.”

Where would health workers be likely to encounter such individuals? IN THE HOSPITAL.

So this nasal spray will be shedding and spreading virus among debilitated and immune-system-weakened patients in hospitals.

And of course, there are millions of people everywhere whose immune systems are weak.

Finally, why would the manufacturer of this vaccine want people who take the vaccine to avoid contact with immunocompromised individuals, IF THE VIRUS IN THE VACCINE IS INACTIVATED AND HARMLESS.

Think about that.

One doctor I’ve spoken to said, “No. The virus in the vaccine won’t spread to people with weak immune systems. But the virus could stimulate their immune systems, which are already weak, and therefore overload them, causing serious problems.”

Really?

Well, even in that case, the conclusion would be: ANYONE WHO HAS A WEAK IMMUNE SYSTEM shouldn’t take the vaccine in the first place. And public health agencies aren’t issuing broad warnings about that.

No matter how you look at it, the FluMist vaccine is set to cause some major problems as it rolls out from the manufacturer.

Those health workers who are protesting against mandatory Swine Flu vaccination in New York for themselves should understand these issues.

HARVARD POLL SURPRISE

OCTOBER 3, 2009. A message about the Swine Flu vaccine is getting through to the American people. And they are responding to poll questions. Large numbers are saying they won’t take the vaccination and neither will their children.

The concern? The safety of the vaccine, and a corresponding distrust of public health officials.

Here is a Boston.com article about a new Harvard survey:

Only four out of 10 adults are absolutely certain they will get swine flu shots once they are available and only a little over half will get their children vaccinated, according to a Harvard poll released today. But others might change their minds, which could put pressure on vaccination delivery.

Among the people who said they wouldn't get the flu shots for themselves or their children, about 6 in 10 said they might reconsider if people in their community were sick or dying from swine flu. Also known as H1N1, the strain emerged last spring and has so far sickened an estimated 20,000 people in Massachusetts, including 12 who have died.

"These findings suggest that public health officials need to be prepared for a surge in demand for the H1N1 vaccine if the H1N1 flu becomes more severe," Robert J. Blendon, professor of health policy and political analysis at the Harvard School of Public Health, said in a statement released with the poll.

When asked why they weren't planning to get flu shots, people said they were worried about side effects or not concerned about catching the flu. Parents also said they were concerned about their children getting other illnesses from the vaccine and didn't trust public health officials to tell them about vaccine safety.

Only a third of adults think the swine flu vaccine is safe, compared to a little more than half who think seasonal flu vaccine is safe.

The poll is the fifth is a series of public opinion surveys about swine flu. Conducted by telephone from Sept. 14 through 20, it has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.7 percentage points.

But here is something to think about. It’s very easy to plant a few stories in the press about more people dying as a result of Swine Flu. All that has to be done is to say people who died from other causes actually “had the Swine Flu virus” in their bodies, and therefore they were “Swine Flu cases.”

Then people could change their minds and scurry in to get their vaccinations.

Is it really so easy to fake cause of death? Yes. Phony lab test results can do the trick. And if a person has an antibody test for Swine Flu and it comes up positive, the person will be called a case of Swine Flu---even though the presence of antibodies (immune-system troops) is NOT an indicator of disease. Antibodies are exactly what a vaccine produces, and in that situation, the person is said to be immune from the disease. Yes, immune.

So how did this gargantuan antibody-nonsense barge into the medical canon of disease diagnosis? It gained power during the early years of AIDS “science.” Researchers needed a way to run simple diagnostic tests, and already quite sure that HIV was the cause of AIDS---based on no evidence---they arbitrarily inferred that a positive antibody test for HIV---which really only meant that a person had contacted the virus---was sufficient proof that he had, or was going to have AIDS. These researchers also assumed HIV was lethal---so a positive antibody test was really a death sentence.

This “science” was, and is, criminal.

And that’s how the whole madness took hold.

FLU VACCINE WARNING

OCTOBER 1, 2009. An emailer just reminded me of stories I wrote several years ago on the Chiron scandal. Contaminated vaccines. Dangerous.

I’m reprinting several of those articles here, because Chiron was supposed to be a quite reputable vaccine manufacturer. Standards were high. Nothing could go wrong. But that wasn’t the case.

What’s the lesson? Even if one believes absolutely in the efficacy of vaccines and their safety, the manufacturing process itself can go dangerously off the rails.

Also, is it possible that some of that Chiron flu vaccine is still kicking around, beyond the reach of the law? Decide for yourself.

From 2004….

It turns out that a great deal of the Chiron flu vaccine that was banned and held under lock and key in England WAS ACTUALLY SHIPPED TO THE US, WHERE IT IS NOW SITTING IN DISTRIBUTORS' WAREHOUSES.

There is one simple question here. When the US government announced this week that Chiron vaccines were unsafe, why didn't they mention that a great deal of the vaccine was already inside the US?

Where unscrupulous people could sell it....

A loose analogy: A British company that makes kids' toys discovers that its new toy, a car, which is not yet on the market, contains radioactive material.

So, a ban on sales is instituted.

Except a million of the toys are already in warehouses in the US.

Will the office of Tommy Thompson, the head of the US Dept. of Health and Human Services, receive ANY calls from mainstream reporters demanding to know why Thompson didn't tell the American people, when he announced the ban on Chiron's flu vaccine, that a great deal of that vaccine was ALREADY in the US?

I think not.

Because I know how lazy or brain-dead most medical reporters are. Only when a story kicks them in the face like a mule do they respond, and then only when it's an approved mule…

There are lots of implications here. Although it may be standard practice for a vaccine manufacturer to ship out huge numbers of doses to distributors before doing its own final safety check on the vaccine, it invites big trouble.

The Chiron doses are in the US already. People who work for these US distributors could have already sold off some of the stocks. Note that the SF Chronicle (October, 2004) mentions doses sent from England to the US in July. Why should we assume they have been sitting in warehouses all this time?

And now that all Chiron flu vaccine is banned as dangerous, the black market will take over. People at those US warehouses could be making deals with Mexico and South America and Canada and, yes, America, and who knows where else, before all the vials are destroyed.

This is a major scandal and health threat in progress, and the US Dept. of Health and Human Services seems to be doing nothing about it.

So it is buyer beware. If the consumer is determined to get a flu shot, how is he to know whether it comes from Chiron?

The most desperate (and uneducated) consumers are going to be those people HHS claims "really need the vaccine": the elderly, the very young children (their parents fighting like loons to obtain it for the kids), and those whose immune systems are already compromised.

In other words, the people most likely to have a severe reaction (illness, injury, death) from the vaccine.

What is contaminating Chiron's flu vaccine is the serratia bacteria. It is now cited as a cause of pneumonia and infections in hospitals.

Remember, when germs in a vaccine are introduced into the body, they are injected, which means that several working portals of immune defense are bypassed through the direct injection route.

RUSSIAN ROULETTE AND THE FLU VACCINE

Boom. It turns out that a significant amount of the flu vaccine made by Chiron in England---the vaccine just declared contaminated and unfit for use and dangerous---IS ALREADY IN THE US. It was shipped here prior to the ban.

It's sitting in US distributor warehouses, "outside the direct control of the company or US [FDA] regulators," according to SFGate.com, the San Francisco Chronicle's online outlet.

We could be talking about something on the order of 20 million doses...

So, which flu vaccine are people in the US going to be getting this fall and winter??

The vials of Chiron vaccine in the US are under a quarantine imposed by the company after it learned that all 48 million of its 2004 flu-vaccine doses were banned by British regulators, but that quarantine does not mean the vials will just sit there in US warehouses. Oh no. It means that eager greedheads can start putting it on the market. Because the selling price will skyrocket in a very heavy demand situation.

Chiron vaccine could be going out the door as we speak.

It's open season on people who want flu vaccine.

And as you’ll see in the SFGate article excerpted below, there is a curious word being used to describe FDA action on these US-warehoused flu vaccine doses: the word is RELEASED. Huh? RELEASED? No explanation is spelled out.

Also, notice that the FDA apparently has no jurisdiction over all that contaminated vaccine sitting in US warehouses. And final safety tests on new vaccines are not run by the FDA, but by the manufacturer.

The Chronicle has learned that vaccine shipped across the Atlantic has been sitting since August in the warehouses of American drug distributors, under a Chiron-imposed "quarantine,'' but outside the direct control of the company or U.S. regulators.

Now, Chiron's entire production of at least 48 million doses of flu vaccine has been rendered useless after British regulators abruptly suspended the license of the Emeryville-based company's Liverpool factory Tuesday, cutting the U.S. supply of flu shots in half.

In this case, Chiron employed the little-known quarantine process under which drugmakers can ship products to distributors before final safety tests are completed.

Norman Baylor, deputy director for the FDA's vaccine unit, said it was not unusual for manufacturers to ship vaccine under quarantine. The quarantine is lifted by the manufacturer when the company's final tests confirm that the product is safe and the distributor is free to sell it.

"I think the system works,'' Baylor said in an interview in September shortly after Chiron's contamination problem first surfaced. "The system did what it was supposed to do.''

Baylor also confirmed that 27 bulk lots -- nearly half of the 60 produced by the Chiron plant -- had been "released" by the FDA prior to the company's discovery that some finished product was contaminated. The actual number of doses that can be produced from each lot varies.

Although the federal agency does not conduct tests on the final product, companies are liable for the safety of their medicines and have powerful incentive to test them thoroughly before releasing them from quarantine, Baylor explained.

Chiron shipped its first million doses of vaccine to distributors in late July, trumpeting its first-to-market achievement in a July 23 press release. At that time, the company explained that "in the coming days," it would "complete its internal release procedures, allowing distributors to begin shipping vaccines to customers.''

Any optimism at Chiron evaporated with Tuesday's ruling. "We consider the Fluvirin season to be over, for all intents and purposes,'' Chiron spokesman John Gallagher said Wednesday.

He also confirmed that the initial crisis had been triggered when tests detected serratia bacteria in a small number of lots. Serratia bacteria are often implicated in episodes of hospital-acquired infection and can be deadly in the bloodstream.

The company has yet to reveal when it discovered the contaminated lots, but having found a problem, Chiron never lifted its quarantine. Although no Chiron vaccine was shipped to clinics, some drug industry experts acknowledge that its presence at multiple U.S. distributor warehouses poses a potential security problem.

"Because of the shortage, the spot market for flu vaccines is going to go through the roof,'' said David Webster, a health care consultant in Lehigh Valley, Penn. "Any time there is an extremely valuable commodity, the potential exists that it will work its way on to the black market. It is a legitimate cause for concern.''

1) SOUL READING

I have been working with clients in this area since 1999. A reading involves matching up the letters of your name with a chart of symbols I have developed over the years as a painter.

In 1994, I discovered that rows of improvised shapes I painted began functioning as a different kind of language. These shapes conveyed meanings on levels that were quite scintillating to me.

Through trial and error, I was able to match up a shape (symbol) to each letter of the English alphabet. I did several trial runs, in which I did a reading of a person's name. People began to ask me to do readings.

Now, I'm doing these readings on an ongoing basis. I put them on CDs. Each reading is 3 hours long. It's very extensive. It takes me about 3-4 weeks to complete.

After the client listens to the CDs several times, I'm available for follow-up questions. Then, after listening to the CDs as many times as possible for the next year---I'm once more available to answer questions.

In doing a reading, I access what I call the realm of archetypes. An archetype is a personage (or more rarely, an event) that supplies a tremendous range of mythic information and imagery relating to life lived on a level of great adventure and progressively expanding consciousness.

The actual realm of archetypes covers a much wider, deeper, and higher territory than Earth-culture thought-forms and symbols. All archetypes are positive, and they exist to assist individuals on their road to unlimited creative power and larger self.

Archetypes also contain very great amounts of energy. Through repeated listenings to the CDs, and by doing the meditations (on these archetypes) that I suggest and describe, the client begins to gain access to these energies.

2) THE STUDY OF ARCHETYPES AND READING THEM

Occasionally, I take students who want to engage in a deep study of this area. We work by phone and email. The initial phase normally lasts six months, and involves developing a short chart of symbols, and reading them a number of times. There is additional "loosening up" practice, to bring the student's wider capabilities into the work.

3) BUSINESS CONSULTATION

The strategies involved vary widely, according to the size and type of business. The theme, of course, is success. The work is quite intensive, and if travel is indicated, that is part of the service.

Re-organization of functions, personnel training, and business-owner re-orientation are on the agenda.

Everything begins with individual sessions, in which I work with the business owner. Based on the results of those sessions, we may expand the relationship to include work with other employees.

Where indicated, a whole paradigm shift may be necessary, in which certain traditional ways of conducting business are changed to innovative formats.

As always in my work, everything starts with imagination. How can a business be re-created to make it more powerful?

4) PERSONAL CONSULTATION

This service covers the areas of health, energy, vision, future, goals, creativity, satisfaction, major life changes, and inspiration. It focuses on the concept of "ordinary self meeting larger self." It also covers, where necessary, practical action and solution.

In the area of health, I may refer the client to my wife, Dr. Laura Thompson, who runs The Southern California Institute of Clinical Nutrition.

The client needs to be willing to make a serious commitment to the overall work. Between sessions, there are assignments to be carried out.

5) IMAGINATION WORK

The most intense of all services offered, this one requires that the client be located here in the San Diego area for a period of at least four months. I work on an individual basis with the client in various areas that impact on, and draw out, creative power.

This may involve drawing, writing, meditation, the use of sound and voice, certain physical exercises, training in hands-on healing, the study of archetypes, and other services listed above.

This is full-time work. It aligns directly with my premise that imagination and creative power are the keys to what every individual, at the deepest level, has been seeking.

The time framework is: six days a week, five hours a day, for at least four months.

In 1958, it became apparent to me that all human problems and limitations were a form of self-imposed conditioning.

The ultimate form of that conditioning is the "burial" of the imagination.

Every other problem is derived from that "forgetting about imagination."

So, while certain advances and successes are still possible, as long as a person is working from grossly limited imagination, he/she is always going to run up against walls and dead-ends.

What I call Earth culture is based on the notion that imagination is a mere toy, a thing that children exercise for a time and then offload, like some useless evolutionary appendage.

Earth culture adores and worships systems. Systems can be extremely useful in many contexts, but when the form of thinking that goes along with systems spreads into every facet of life, imagination and creative force are placed far back on the shelf.

However, imagination never dies, is never damaged. It is always whole, always waiting to be employed along an infinite number of fronts.

Creative power is the secret that lies in the obscured core of every spiritual system or practice this planet has seen.

Creative power is the answer to accessing the paranormal; it is the answer to the quest for enlightenment; it is the answer to the desire for inner fulfillment; it is the key to a new and honorable and just and abundant world.

Because we have educated ourselves to believe otherwise, we make conclusions and calculations and assumptions that lead us into compartmentalized strategies and solutions in life. We come to accept all sorts of limited ideas about what is possible.

Having accepted these limited ideas, we then live and work within that framework.

There is another way. It is wider and more powerful than any universe.
