Folks:
I think that I have sent out this e-mail to everyone recently; however, I would like to make another comment of my own concerning "Fluoride". And, thank you Vicky for sending this information to us. As many of you are aware, I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1951 with a BS degree in Petroleum Engineering. One of the things that I learned in my Chemistry Class was this:

No discussion about the body's immune system would be complete without an explanation of THE LAW OF HALOGEN DISPLACEMENT. There are five elements that make up what is known as the HALOGEN family of elements. The Halogen Law states that, "The Halogen element having the LOWEST atomic weight will ALWAYS DISPLACE another within the Halogen group whose atomic weight is greater." Arranged in ascending order, the Halogen family is as follows:

Both Fluorine and Chlorine are sometimes additives to public water supplies. These two toxic elements will ALWAYS displace Iodine, an element that is vitally needed to protect your Thyroid gland and prevent "goiter" and poisoning from "radioactive fallout." Fluorine will decompose almost ALL compounds to form fluorides, and the most important element for man's existence---OXYGEN---WILL NEVER combine with it. Both the element Fluorine and Hydrofloric Acid are dangerous "cumulative poisons." Also, Chlorine is a greenish-yellow gas that, because it attacks the respiratory tract, is almost always included in most of the "war gases".

What I am saying here is: You should determine if your public water supply is being treated with either (or both!) fluoride or chlorine. If it is, I would advise you to start drinking (and cooking with) ONLY "distilled water". Get your minerals from some other source! ALSO, ANOTHER SPECIAL NOTE: In any situation where radioactive fallout is either imminent or actually occurring, you should DEFINATELY use the iodine treatment for ALL water that is to be consumed for drinking or cooking. This is done to flood your Thyroid with the harmless iodine in order to block the absorption of radio-active Iodine-131, which is also dissolvable in water.

Use IODINE (USP 2 %) to disinfect water. Use 5-6 drops per quart of water or, as much as it will take for you to notice the iodine smell. In fact, Iodine works better on some hard to kill germs than does chlorine.

The Issue at hand...

In a November 28, 2005 letter to Dow AgroSciences, Maureen Serafini, Director, NYS Bureau of Pesticides, approved sulfuryl fluoride (ProFume®) fumigant on all processed foods and a large number of raw food commodities in New York. These are the foods most Americans eat.

In response, FAN’s Pesticide Project Director, Ellen Connett, requested Director Serafini to revoke this approval.

Because sulfuryl fluoride breaks down to fluoride in the human body, fluoride is the endpoint of toxicological concern. In their approval, EPA approved the highest levels of fluoride residues in food in US history. Fluoride is persistent and bio-accumulates in the human body.

Inhalation tests with all animal species exposed to sulfuryl fluoride revealed severe harm to the brain. Of particular concern was the finding of holes (vacuolation) in the white matter of the brain, and an abnormal softening (malacia) and cell death (necrosis) of brain tissue.

Farben had developed plans during the war to fluoridate the occupied countries because it was found that fluoridation caused slight damage to a specific part of the brain, making it more difficult for the person affected to defend his freedom and causing the individual to become more docile towards authority. Fluoride remains one of the strongest anti-psychotic substances known, and is contained in twenty-five percent of the major tranquilizers. It may not seem surprising that Hitler’s regime practiced the concept of mind control through chemical means, but the American military continued Nazi research, exploring techniques to incapacitate an enemy or medicate an entire nation. As stated in the Rockerfeller Report, a Presidential briefing on CIA activities, "the drug program was part of a much larger CIA program to study possible means of controlling human behavior"(Stephen 1995).

At the end of World War II, the US government sent Charles Eliot Perkins, a research worker in chemistry, biochemistry, physiology and pathology, to take charge of the vast Farben chemical plants in Germany. The German chemists told Perkins of a scheme which they had devised during the war and had been adapted by the German General Staff. The German chemists explained of their attempt to control the population in any given area through the mass medication of drinking water with sodium fluoride, a tactic used in German and Russian prisoner of war camps to make the prisoners "stupid and docile"(Stephen 1995).

Tell your friends and family
There should be no underestimating the power of word-of-mouth communication. Tell your friends and family about what you have learned concerning fluoride. Let them know that the benefits have been greatly exaggerated and the risks ignored; that the vast majority of western Europe has rejected water fluoridation and yet has experienced the same decline in tooth decay as the US; that the scientists and professionals at EPA's Headquarters Union in Washington DC have recently called for a "national moratorium" on fluoridation; and that more than 70 US communities have rejected fluoridation since 1999. Let them also know about the Fluoride Action Network!

Find out if your own community's water is fluoridated

Call up your local water utility or your local Department of Health and ask if your community adds fluoride to the water. If it does fluoridate, write a letter to the paper, tell your friends, start a group, and start thinking of creative and effective ways to inform your community about the unnecessary hazards posed by water fluoridation.

Begin a Ballot Initiative in Your Town
One way of stopping fluoridation in your town is to start a petition drive to get the issue of water fluoridation on the local ballot. For unfluoridated areas, this can be an effective means of ensuring that fluoridation never begins in your area. Ask your local grocery stores to provide a non-fluoride toothpaste alternative
Many grocery stores and pharmacies these days only carry fluoridated toothpastes. This in turn deprives many consumers of the choice to not use fluoride.

There are different chemical compounds of fluoride. The stuff they stick in our water here in the states is not "naturally occurring" but the crap they scrape off of smoke stacks and precipitators in the aluminum smelters and elsewhere. It is toxic. I am not sophisticated enough in the ways of chemistry to explain the difference between naturally occurring and all the other forms of fluoride. I leave that up to the experts. Such as the scientists at the U.S. EPA who have literally laid their careers on the line over this issue.

When you come to the states buy a tube of fluoridated tooth paste. (Just about all of them are.) On the side of the box, and on the side of each tube in fine print is the following statement: "If you ingest more than a pea sized amount of this product CALL A POISON CONTROL CENTER IMMEDIATELY."

In Europe it is not illegal, rather it is unapproved because they have not done the research, or worse because dentists have a vested interest in more dental caries. The big buck drives America, why not dental associations in Europe?

In parts of India where Fluoride runs at 8 parts per million, the natives are not raving idiots, altho their teeth are mottled, and their skin is of a brown color... Even helps them to play cricket...

Evolution has given a place to fluoride. Look up 'apatite' the naturally occurring mineral and its variations OH, Cl and F, that tooth material is made of. I would like to see where fluoride free areas show the same or less dental caries as treated areas.

Here in America, the Health Departments are still recommending municipalities to "fluordinate" our public water supplys. This is all the more reason why we must vote NO on tomorrow's Osage County, Oklahoma vote as to whether or not we want to establish a county "Health Department"!!!

Dear All,
The wheel has turned almost full circle: new legislation [in NSW at least] has [re]classified fluoride as a poison. As a result, Ballina Shire Council is recommending scrapping its practice of providing over-the-counter fluoride tablets and fluoride drops. [See news item below or www.fluoridealert.org/news/1842.html ].

Years ago, non-prescription Sodium Fluoride tablets were supplied in Australia with 'S5 Schedule under the poisons act' printed on the label - as was fluoride toothpaste.

In 1973, 2-year-old Jason Burton of Queensland died of fluoride poisoning from ingesting at the one time no more than 6 fluoride tablets. [FLUORIDE IN AUSTRALIA - A case to answer by Wendy Varney, ISBN 0 86806 261 8].

The death was never reported in any medical or dental journal throughout the world. [FLUORIDATION -Poison on Tap by Glen S. R. Walker, ISBN 0 9593571 0 6].

When the National Health & Medical Research Council [conveniently?] decided that fluoride toothpaste was a toiletry the 'S5 Schedule' wording was removed.

In 1997, the US Food and Drug Administration required toothpaste to carry the warning: "Use only a pea-sized amount and supervise child's brushing and rinsing [to minimize swallowing]. The warning instructed parents to keep toothpaste "out of the reach of children under 6 years of age," adding the precautionary message "if the child swallows more than a pea-sized amount, contact a Poison Control Center immediately". In a recent letter, US dentist Dr Debra Hopkins wrote: "Fluoride for ingestion is a prescription medication that should be dispensed by licensed medical/dental professionals ..." and "... A warning on toothpaste tubes states: Keep out of reach of children under 6 years of age. In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately." [ www.fluoridealert.org/news/1842.html ].

In the 1993 US publication of Fluoride the AGING FACTOR [ISBN 0-913571-03-2] by Dr John Yiamouyiannis, BS, PhD [Biochemistry] the author wrote: "Fluoride mouth-rinse programs are currently being administered to children by teachers. Since these teachers are not licensed to practice medicine, dentistry, or pharmacy, fluoride mouth-rinse programs are illegal. To administer a drug, teachers are required to take 3- to 4-gram packets of sodium fluoride [enough to kill 3 to 6 children] and dilute them for use by the children. This is in violation of pharmacy laws which prohibit the compounding or dispensing of drugs without a license. Fluoride is classified both as a drug and as a poison. Furthermore, in the administration of this program to students, the teacher, as well as the school board, are guilty of practicing medicine without a license. Additionally, since most school rinse programs do not make the parent aware of the warning on the fluoride rinse packets, "AMOUNT IS POISONOUS IF SWALLOWED, KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN." and "WARNING: DO NOT SWALLOW", they are in violation of laws requiring the terminal distributor to make the parents aware of the danger involved."

As a former Biochemical Editor of Chemical Abstracts Service [the world's largest chemical information centre] no doubt Dr Yiamouyiannis was certain of his facts.

Could it be possible that Australian Councils [and pharmacists] that provide fluoride tablets and fluoride drops are in breech of duty of care regulations by not warning the parents [the terminal distributors] of the dangers of these seemingly-harmless products?

Having said that, perhaps it would be appropriate to email the Ballina Shire Council General Manager [Mr Stuart McPherson] at council@balshire.org.au and ask him to extend congratulations to councillors for having made such a wise recommendation. This would also be an opportunity to dispense some relevant information about the adverse effects of fluoridation just in case Ballina's councillors are persuaded that fluoridation is a safe alternative.

Ballina council rejects fluoride

After almost 40 years of providing fluoride to the shire's residents northern NSW's Ballina council is recommending that it scrap the service.

Since 1965 the council has offered fluoride in one form or another.

But new legislation now classifies fluoride as a poison.

Ballina's manager of water and sewerage, Phil Warner, says it is time stop the practice because the council is no longer authorised to hand out fluoride.

"The council has been providing fluoride to the community over the counter for many years now, but in tablet form and also in drop form," Mr Warner said. "Basically fluoride is now considered a poisonous substance."
