China Executes FDA Leader: American FDA Poisons The World with Aspartame, an Imminent Health Hazard. Demand for Recall. By Dr. Betty Martini.

Rumsfeld and former FDA Commissioner Arthur Hayes are responsible for putting aspartame on the market and millions have died. The FDA has had every opportunity to recall aspartame but instead has given its loyalty to Big Pharma.

In l986 when the Community Nutrition Institute petitioned FDA to ban aspartame because so many were having seizures and going blind FDA refused. This was like shouting to the world "We don't care how many have seizures, go blind and die, we represent the aspartame industry and we will be loyal no matter how many perish."

Since then there have been thousands of cases of vision problems, blindness and seizures. It wasn't even the case of not knowing. The RAO Study pivotal in the approval of aspartame showed it to be a seizure triggering drug because of high serum phenylalanine levels in the blood. Your own FDA report of 92 documented symptoms list 4 types of seizures being experienced by people in the population.

At every opportunity you help Big Pharma. When Pilcher, the athlete, died in West Palm Beach you immediately recalled ephedra, Chinese Mahaung, that has been used for thousands of years. Yet, Pilcher didn't die from Ephedra, he was worried about his weight and would go a couple of days without eating. Then he would drink Diet Coke all day laced with aspartame. So aspartame killed him just like its continuing to kill athletes, even little student athletes in school. But were you concerned about Ephedra - not in the least.

The reason we know that is the only ephedra that has done any harm because its synthesized by Big Pharma and added to drugs is by prescription. ASPARTAME VIOLATES THE LAW:

What power has been given you that allows you to serve above the law? You know aspartame is a multipotential carcinogen. In original studies it triggered brain, mammary, uterine, ovarian, testicular,
thyroid and pancreatic tumors. Your own FDA toxicologist, Dr. Adrian Gross told Congress that aspartame violated the Delaney Amendment which forbids putting anything in food you know causes

It's a crime to ship an adulterated product for sale. That means aspartame violates Interstate Commerce Laws. Aspartame is not even an additive because you know that additives must be inert or non-reactive. Additives are not suppose to cause 92 symptoms including death by your own
records. How could you allow even babies and children to consume an additive excitoneurotoxic carcinogenic drug?

I personally spoke to the researcher in Barcelona about this study. He told me after doing this study that aspartame would kill 200 million people. I told him it already had. Note that 92% of independent studies show the problems aspartame causes. Eliminate one pro-industry summary and 6 studies FDA had something to do with and 100% of independent scientific peer reviewed studies show the problems.

STUPIDITY:

Because its commonly known and in the FDA records, as well as the protest of the National Soft Drink Assn in the Congressional Record, that aspartame breaks down at 86 degrees, it was stated when
first approved, it would only be in dry products. A 5 year old child could tell you if you put Equal in hot coffee or tea you just heated it. The way you make Jello is put it in a pot with water and heat it?

In the Chicago Sun Times, October 22, l987, is this article: "NutraSweet Ready For Baked Goods"
"Sources said NutraSweet Co will announce today a new way for its aspartame sweetener product to be used in baked goods, such as cakes and cookies. The company said it would announce the Development of a new technology at a press conference at the Ritz Carlton today, but would not comment further. The company has been trying to find a method for NutraSweet to be used in the baking process, because at high temperatures the water in aspartame breaks down and loses its Sweet taste."

How can the NutraSweet Company have the gall to say its the "water" that breaks down. Sounds like someone raving mad from the looney bin! It's the methanol that gives the sweetness, and its the
methanol that breaks down to formaldehyde and formic acid (ant sting poison). The entire molecule breaks down to diketopiperazine, the brain tumor agent. Almost complete conversion to a brain tumor agent, and you people know it.

In l993 you granted approval for aspartame to be used in baking. Now, I would like to know as well as the rest of the world what new technology prevents aspartame from breaking down? You approved this so you should have the technology, especially since you admitted to begin with that it couldn't be used in baking. If you can't answer me, perhaps you can answer Congress because they will certainly get a copy. The secret trade information also admits that aspartame can't be used for everything. Why did Dr. Kessler in l996 grant blanket approval? Is this what got him his job at Yale?

ADDICTING THE WORLD

It just never made it out of committee. Senator Orrin Hatch had a lot to do with it. A press release dated February 11, l986 is titled: "HATCH SAYS NO TO COMMITTEE HEARINGS ON ASPARTAME." Senator Hatch received $2,500 from the soft drink political action committee prior to his reelection and $1,000 each from Daniel Searle, Wesley Dixon (Daniel Searle's brother-in-law), and William Searle (Gordon 1987,page 506 of US Senate 1987). Senator Hatch repeatedly blocked hearings looking into the safety of aspartame (Gordon 1987, page 506 of US Senate 1987). His alliance has always been to the aspartame industry and not to consumers who ingest the poison.

It's easy to understand the behavioral problems since there is 50% phenylalanine in this toxin which as an isolate floods the brain, lowers the seizure threshold and depletes serotonin. When serotonin
is lowered it triggers are types of psychiatric and behavioral problems from bipolar or manic depression, to paranoia, mood swings, panic attacks and hallucinations. Representatives from Feingold have stated that the terms ADD and ADHD were not even used until the earl l980's when aspartame was approved.

PROPHECY FULFILLED:

If Dr. Olney was right you would see it in the population. 1 in 150 is born autistic except in New Jersey where it's 1 in 93. 1 in every 6 children in US has a neurological disorder. 50% of all children born have birth defects. This is what the FDA has done to babies and children by refusing to remove aspartame knowing by its own records that it's not only unsafe but a deadly addictive excitoneurotoxic carcinogenic drug that interacts with all drugs and vaccines. HOW ASPARTAME IS MADE:

On November 4, l987, the chairman of Monsanto's NutraSweet unit, Robert Shapiro, defended the product saying it was manufactured from natural compounds found in most foods. (Chicago Sun Times, 11/4/87, page 63).

Dr. Bill Deagle http://www.wnho.net/molecular_holocaust_of_aspartame.htm informed me he had seen the vats of bacteria the amino acids in aspartame are made from. He said "its toxic sludge". One can only wonder if Stauber who wrote the excellent books, "Toxic Sludge Is Good For You" and "Trust Us, We're Experts" exposing the propaganda used to market unsafe products, also knows.

Researching the issue further, I spoke to Dr. David Benson at the University of Connecticut, Molecular & Cell Biology. Professor Benson wrote a paper to provide students with background information on how amino acids are made by fermentation. His paper does mention some of the controversies surrounding the consumption of amino acids but takes neither a pro nor con stance on the genetic engineering of producing organisms or safety of amino acids. He said most all amino acids are genetically engineered. Aspartame is genetically engineered in E. Coli bacteria.

I definitely would not call amino acids made in this fashion natural, unless you believe what you find in your toilet is edible.

DIABETES AND OBESITY:

Since aspartame can precipitate diabetes one can understand the epidemic. It also simulates and aggravates diabetic retinopathy and neuropathy, destroys the optic nerve, causes diabetics to go into convulsions and even interacts with insulin as diabetic specialist Dr. H. J. Roberts has written for years. Since aspartame approval he has treated these victims in the trenches of medical practice. Attorney James Turner and Citizens For Health have already asked for its recall and yet again FDA has not removed it from the marketplace. To add insult to injury it's well known that aspartame is a chemical hypersensitization product because its so poisonous. So when aspartame victims go to Splenda, another poison according to Dr. James Bowen they not only maintain the reactions to aspartame but pick up those from Splenda. And this is exactly what is happening as victims continue to complain of serious reactions.

Glutamate researchers used aspartame as a placebo in studies so they could say MSG wouldn't react anymore than the placebo. In l993 Jack Samuels, President of the Truth in Labeling Campaign, was reviewing FDA docket files relating to an FDA study on the safety of amino acids in supplements. In the files, he found a letter dated March 22, 1991, from Andrew G. Ebert, PhD, Chairman, International
Glutamate Technical Committee - a glutamate industry organization - in which Ebert admitted aspartame had been used since at least 1978 in test and placebo materials that his organization provided to scientists who study the safety of MSG.

A review of studies conducted with the above-reference test material clearly indicates that some subjects reacted to both MSG test material and placebo material. Scientists conducting such studies concluded that since subjects reacted to both MSG and placebos, their reactions were not from MSG. Even though such logic is highly questionable, we now know subjects reacted to placebos because of the presence of aspartame that causes MSG-type responses in MSG sensitive people. Because of
> the disclosure of the use of aspartame in placebo material by Jack Samuels, the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology, in its July 1995 report on the safety of MSG in food, concluded the use of aspartame in placebo materials was inappropriate. CONCLUSION:

FDA you must remove aspartame from the market immediately. Dr. James Bowen's letter to FDA twenty years ago remains as accurate today. He stated aspartame is mass poisoning of the American public and more than 70+ countries of the world. Today its over 100. China knows how to deal with FDA corruption. Yesterday, China's leaders announced the execution of their former top FDA official, who was caught accepting over $800,000 in bribes from drug companies. Guest writer Byron Richards offers an analysis of this story (below).
